A musing brought to you by today's comics:
I wonder if it was called "Hump Day" when Mort Walker decided to always feature Miss Buxley on Wednesdays?
His earliest strips with her tended to be on the "racy" side for a daily comic, and he even "Rule 34d" her. This is an original done by Mort himself as a limited edition, featuring her in something closer to her original form:
Make note of some of the more amusing things going on with the other characters: General Halftrack pitching to her navel; Cookie feeding her; Blips being disgusted; Zero being oblivious; and Killer and Beetle with trimmers and a ladder to give her a little groom.
For any interested: her original style versus what Mort went to when papers started to drop him and bitched about "racy" content:
Her originals also often included low-cut tops and ample cleavage. Seems she was also fond of pearl necklaces.
And, speaking of "racy content", this was actually run in a Sunday paper many years ago.

Anyone have an experience with migraines? Shit sucks.

Not for a while - had a few when I was young. Now I get these wrap-around sinus things three our four times a year that start off in one quadrant, like a migraine, but then travels after a bit to encompass everything from the traps, up. Only thing to do is a dark room, quiet, and a few advil (or your OTC of preference) and nap. Usually alleviates by the time I wake up, but often have a slight "hangover" effect from it.
Blessed to not get the "big M" on the regular like some do - that would be pretty damn awful.

Yeah, I used to get them a lot more when I was younger. Now I tend to get them once or twice a year, and it's just like, "Yup, this day is basically useless now."

I only get migraines when I don't drink enough water, don't wash my water bottle enough or drink apple cider vinegar past 4-5pm. I know not everyone is the same, but avoiding these 3 things keeps me completely migraine free.

It's brutal. It took me a few times of making that mistake to realize it was the cause. I never have an issue with it as long as I consume before noon though.
