I love how I posted that song and then you brought up Sandman. I did kind of knew that. Very nice that all came together like that.

Never postpone the supper. I feel that, sometime you just want to make it quick and easy.
I usually eat between 7 & 7:30, but I got involved talking here!

My thing is to cook something about once a week that will serve me 5-7 times and have that as supper for the week. When it's something like a stew, goulash or my baked rigatoni, reheating is easy. This last time I made something I've been craving for a couple of months: tomato basil soup. Thing is, you can't have tomato basil soup without grilled cheese, and you can't make grilled cheese a few days in advance. And I like my grilled cheese with bacon! :ROFLMAO:

So, each night, I have to make the sandwich (do it panini style on the Foreman instead of on the stove). I precooked the bacon, so I don't have that extra step every night, and it doesn't take THAT long, but building the sandwich and getting it just the right melty-gooey is a little more involved than just the "scoop & nuke" that I tend to do most nights. And, because it's tomato basil soup, it is required of me to sprinkle a bit of grated Parmesan and a chiffonade of fresh basil over the top after I reheat it. :)

I felt that so hard. I like to meal prep during the weekend and just have to reheat during the week so it is quick and easy. just saves time and energy.

yeah, I should clarify the oven mits.. I forget to use them. I have nerve damage which resulted in no feeling in my arms so since I can't feel the pain I forget them. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Think wife is tired of the trips to the Dr. for burns.

Well I would love to stay and be sleazy but have to get ready for another long day at work. Goodnight.

Amongst the top collaborations of all time. If you really want to appreciate it, listen to this version with the instrumental tracks turned down to zero: real artists don't need autotune. ;)

What is "too spicy"? And, yeah - it's good to not burn off your hands.

Did chili a couple of weeks ago - wasn't my spiciest ever, but I put some ghosts into the paste this time and went heavy on the arbols and pequins. Fresh habanero, fresh serrano and another couple of ghosts in the sachet.

Yep, I'm a mess. Paralyzed from the waist down and can't feel my arms. Dr. said it's called incomplete quadraplegia. Military injuries thus I am medically retired and enjoying it. :) :) :)

Life lesson... stay away from things that go boom... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

They both had amazing vocals, and Freddie Mercury had such wonderful range with his voice. Life cut so short. But David Bowie and him are legends.
That chili sounds amazing.
