Any of the rest of you having trouble keeping up with your VNs?

Been so involved with other things - including a long stretch of actively being here for hours at a time for a while there - that I barely progressed anything for months, until this week. Picked up and finished a new VN (to the point where it's developed) just the other night, and then did three with brief updates in the last two days. That new one wasn't really intended, but I'd spent like three months on three other VNs, including a complete replay of one that did a bunch of fucking stupid stuff, then did a rework for Steam, and was tired of grinding things familiar. Will finally get back to some of the better developed VNs starting tonight, but am really still dreading picking up some old faves that were modded by Sancho (if you know, you know) and trying to get them to work with the replacement mods without full replays. And, yeah, I know about the save fixer, but one of the VNs I picked up to play over Christmas had a new mod and some other things going on and it didn't seem to be working right, so will do a complete reinstall modless with the fixer to see if I can get it to work, save off after a little progress, then see if I can add in the new mod after. Can't remember how complex that one was, so may not really need it.

Anyway, my sporadic presence has been largely due to trying to get through some backlog and might be more sporadic in the near future, but we'll see - sometimes I see a post and down the rabbit hole I go!

That reminds me - saw a post by @Lix that has inspired a .gif, but I figure it's going to be a pain in the ass to create since I couldn't alredy find one like it, but it's planned as a transparency, so will likely be a bitch to build. Might try to do that over the weekend...

I'm newer around here and sometimes the amount of gif and memes make me feel like I'm 60. Some of them can be pretty creative, but I will just admire them. Ain't no way I'll be out here being able to make some (or find some) of these gifs I see on here

In a couple of years, I'll resemble that remark! But, with the few simple tools I was led to by folks here, they aren't that tough to do, for the most part. Just might take a minute the first few times, and then take longer once you think you might be decent at it and start getting more complex.

Most of the ones I keep up with haven't been updated in forever. I have a few downloaded I haven't started but I always like to have a couple extra.

Many of mine with longer cycles hit all at once, or at least within a month or so of each other, and at a time when I was focused elsewhere. I try to not pick up anything new until I'm caught up on the rest, but I have things that have updated within the last six months, but that I haven't actually played in a year. One VN has pretty regular updates and a slew of LIs, and I'm probably at least five or six updates behind on it. Feel like I can only catch up if I ignore everything else and do VNs 24/7 for about a month!

There's only a small number I do that with because their updates only provide about 45 minutes of play, but they are also frequent. Ravenous, and the things by Abere Lucifer fall into this category.

Mining ? Some people never stop - though I have noticed that there are some plateaus where mining activity seems to drop off. Some people stop mining after getting Members+, a few more slow down after getting P1, After attaining P4 a LOT of people quit coming to the mines. I have a cattle farm behind me and a horse ranch to my side for neighbors...they are friendly ppl.. last storm that took our power they came over with propane heaters and set them up for us in our house...ahhh the country life here..we look out for each other

I have forest preserve on three sides of me - occasionally one of my closest neighbors stops by to see if I am still alive. kinda like Netflix asking if you are still watching.

The entertainment is the major reason, though I haven't been really active as of late. And that "million a day" is an interesting goal. I'll be picking up a little of 29K today, and I'm not in the top ten, or even the top thirty.
