Yeah - once you've become active on a thread it becomes "Watched" and you get notifications. If you don't want to receive notifications from the thread in the future, you can "Unwatch" or "Ignore Thread" by hitting one of the buttons at the top of the page - I've done a screenshot of the top of this page and circled them in green.

If you simply use the tools sites have available, you can watch or not watch and avoid being a narcissistic dick that makes useless posts like you're a dog marking a spot with its urine.

I would assume most regular users, especially those who post a lot, have the second option unchecked.

Again, unwatch is not a thing if you didn't set it on watch in the first place (auto watch counts as that) and it won't help you in any form to sort out game threads you already checked out.

What was the point of posting any of this in here anyway. Almost like the report button and staff team are there for a reason, and it's probably not so you take your problems to the most popular thread on the site. Talking about useless posts...
