The main issue is it's only helpful when you don't need it, to someone with example let's say a RTX 3050 getting 30fps then magically getting 60 fps with just a toggle sounds magical, the main issue is the artifacting and input lag which isn't really noticeable when you have 60fps+ base see the issue?

No I was just being realistic my life time crush is 15ft tall roughly.

Not a big sandbox fan, but if its a really good story I can manage. I haven't heard of Cosy Cafe, I'll check that one out, thanks.

I personally don't consider Mist to be much of a sandbox. It's too linear. The story and models are pretty damn good.

We are beyond cooked, first time a 80 class card doesn't beat the previous flagship........1k usd too.

RTX 5080 is 11.4% slower than the RTX 4090

Isn't this because of the AI frame generation crap they added in? I've watched some stuff on it but didn't pay full attention. Might be a reason to skip over this gen so you get the better performance when they iron it out next gen. Similar to how rtx wasn't that useful in 20 series but now looks better and is done without sacrificing as much performance. They're supposed to be better with AI but not much else from what I gathered.

P1 is really only worth it to remvoe the reaction cooldown.

I personally don't consider Mist to be much of a sandbox. It's too linear. The story and models are pretty damn good.

I totally agree. Loved that game. I wish there was more to it, the ending was good but I wanted more after it finished.

Back from my Indian lunch buffet , As is usual the Butter Chicken and Pork Vindaloo were excellent! Had a couple bottles of Kingfisher beer with it and everything was wonderfull.

yea I know - even if you turn 30 fps in 120 fps; it will still play like a 30 fps game, because that's the only thing the game registers.. it's .. so dumb.. actually so dumb.

basically the only card to truly benefit from it is the 5090... 5080 maybe a tiny bit; everything below that it's just pointless XD

You understatement how powerful a RTX 4070/5070 and up are they'd definitely benefit frame generation and muti frame but that's besides the point, 5090 is marketed 4k pathtracing getting 240 fps when in reality it's getting 28 fps without help.

That's exactly what I got it for

IT'S a mess tldr: RTX 5090 is 30% over a RTX 4090 while drawing 30% more power while being 30% more money, RTX 5080 is 15% faster at most over a it can also be slower than the super variant RTX 4080 while being the same price (if at MSRP)

how old is your pc and it's components? i am asking cause when look at a benchmark for i think it was po2 my gpu wasn't even on it (too old)

Mines nearly ten now, most of the components beyond some extra ram are too. Its not entirely for games alone, I use my PC for some rendering and such. It's definitely a luxury choice for me then an essential upgrade.

oh shit we talkin bout VN RENDERS?! my biggest issue is when devs use HS/Koikatsu animations but ignore vagina bones so the dick just clips into a vagina model. im going to rate all the games ive played here and point out every game that does/does not use animation bones.

While I wouldn't be as colorful about it I certainly agree. One of the worst games that did this is GOSA (Guild of Spicy Adventures) it talks about how you're going to make your own guild and the characters are like yeah you first need a building. I think it's been a year and a half since the game was first released and still no building and barely any content beyond a few stills, but a ridiculous amount of "story". I will never download that game again, too much slow not enough burn.

RIGHT?! like i know were enjoying free products but there are so many free rigging/animations and bones that modders have created for the illusion games that theres really no excuse to have bad scenes

even the stock animations with vagina bones is 10x better than stock animations with none
