What I do find strange is how mad Cassey got at first when she found the MC with Alice and how accepting she later became of the MC's interest in Hailey.

I think Ketzal long ago abandoned any pretense at actual coherent plot just to shoehorn in MOAR INCEST even when it makes no fucking sense, starting with Cassey borrowing an ovum from Nicole like one would borrow a cup of sugar to produce Alice (this despite Alice being almost a dead ringer for young Cassey - same coloring, same tits, just different eyes).

I would not judge too early before knowing all of the background informations. And IMO Alice really does not look like Cassey. She rather looks like the girls from her father's side of the family...

It's convoluted and complicated for sure. But whether or not it's incoherent we will have to see.

To quote Ketzal himself:

SSP isn't perfect, no. Far from it. I read the reviews and every time I think I've done a good job, since people hate what I want them to hate.

Hand's down my most favorite games in this genera. There are a few errors and the code seems to have gotten away from them a few times, but that is all made up for with a great overall experience. Only taking half a star off for the sometimes convoluted plot lines which sometimes don't seem to join up in a coherent way sometimes. Of course, that might be fixed later if the dev comes out of silence and posts another update. Hope that comes soon.

Because they are all fucked up people that grew up in fucked up environments. It seems like the mc is starting to try to get in control but it still might take a while until they stop with the manipulation and lies.

Well, incest cults tend to do that. For an approximate real version of the MC's family look up the Colt family in Australia (carried on for 80+ years, until private conversations between the hebes were overheard at school). Of course after 4 generations as you'd expect physical disabilities started showing up unlike in SSP, so they'd probably all would have died off in a few more generations anyway when sterility was the most common disability. I'm not sure but it's possible that was the inspiration for SSP, minus the bad reality stuff.

And 15 of 27. A few Lunas, but glad the MC got rid of the beard.
