Y'know, I understand why the reaction timer exists, but man does it suck as someone who likes a lot of people's posts.

That is why we advise getting Prestige 1 ASAP after Members + that eliminates the cooldown timer , the more you react = the more people tend to react back on your posts in return. The whole LC aspect of it does not matter to me anymore but I tend to react to any post I find informative - or entertaining. AND I will often react just because it is obvious that it was a high effort post for that person.

i feel as though it may be good to put a time limit between the creation of new thread topics. i have noticed people trying to grind coins will just make 10 threads all at once asking basic questions and it floods out all of the more meaningful threads on the front page feed

If by backreading you mean catching up on yesterday's unread posts, then I guess I've already been brainwashed influenced into backreading. It just so happens that I come back right when the thread is starting to slow down and people are going to sleep.

That is a start. We usually just read whatever we're comfortable with. I usually start wherever I was last before logging off. Unless I have been gone longer than a day, then I start about 10 pages back. That said though, some people read back pretty far, easily in the 20-30 page range. It can be a lot though doing that. But, it does help keep things fresh, revives older topics, and ensures everyone's post gets seen. Since sometimes this chat moves at warp speed. Or at least, it used to.
