There will be an update every few episodes or so that doesn't have lewd scenes.
This is the way that I am choosing to do this.
Please take no offense when I say that you are free to play other games.

I will not be changing the formula to how I do things on my project, as it is MY project.
Plenty of people like it as is. "bloated" or not.
I have said many times that I am doing this for myself and sharing to those that would like it.

You can either keep playing as it is, or don't.

Consideration is key here. Developer is obviously bothered and so are the few poopers that DM'd me. You are not in any trouble. I'm simply asking that you acknowledge this and leave it be. At the very least, make a completely different statement instead of about the same thing. Understandable that you enjoy the art and not the story. We all have our taste. That is all.

Exactly. I'd rather spend my time playing something that ramps up lust by putting characters in lewd situations that are POSSIBLE.
Too many of these AVNs get caught up in a fantasy that does nothing to drive the narratives of taboo desire - that's what I'm here for, not to see some MC become a monster slayer, superhero, mafia boss, zombie killer or supreme magic user or some other made up bad ass - NONE of those things make a game with forbidden carnal content better and after awhile starts to really detract from the theme as more time is spent rendering unnecessary content, wasting time rendering too many locations and meeting too many vestigial characters that do nothing to move the lewd scenes along and all of which I'm just gonna hold down the skip button anyway.
Plus the updates get more and more bloated with these things while seemingly include the good stuff as an afterthought.
Most of woman are attractive and most of the girls in this are cute (tho one looks like somebody applied freckles via birdshot) most of the sex scenes ramp in satisfying ways and the multiple angles are well done and satisfying too but if I were a subscriber I'd be pretty pissed about updates that move the story along without any sex.
I'm not here in the Games+ section for story unless it's about hot lewd sex, I have limited special ME time away from responsibilities, if I want monsters and fantasy I'll go read a book or some manga that doesn't blueball content to make a feckless MC some macho hero.

I absolutely agree with you the the story is more often just a tool in this kind of games, though a few of them of them have very good stories. I just want to stress that it is not the story (no matter how irrelevant for me) that is my main negative impression in this particular game but what I call the reverse sex dynamics. Here the guy behaves almost like an incel, not interested in sex that much and the girls just do everything to get him into the bed.

I mean normally, among the healthy human males and females, those roles are reversed It's still not uncommon in the AVNs that the MC has a "magic dick". It's much less common though that he is so reserved and almost impassioned about the sex. I could bear an update or two without a single sex scene at all. But when the guy doesn't want to fuck a hot and very willing girl immediately, I want to kill this MC

I want to inhabit the MC, see through their eyes, feel through their reactions, and experience the story as they experience it, the same way I can experience a good novel, lewd or otherwise. The sex, including the Games+ type of sex, just makes it that much more enjoyable because it's not censoring itself to fit mainstream squeamishness.

A few, well-chosen and sexy as fuck lewds go a LOT farther than some soulless nukige like some people seem to want. And on that front, this game delivers extremely well. Would I make every decision the way the MC has? Fuck no. He's been a right dumbass a lot of the time, but he's improving. Mostly. (Dude has a huge fucking blind spot where he cheerfully ignores pretty women acting blatantly evil around him and always assumes they're just fine if they hint that they might fuck him.) The girls are the standout of this game, though; they've all got so much personality, and just so damn adorable. Hell, the dev even made me like Selene and want to see her get some semblance of resolution for her heel-uh-side-of-face-I-guess-since-she's-still-happily-murderous? turn.

I also know that I'm not the only one who feels this way, or nukige would always outsell story-heavy games. But that's not what happens. Look at some of the most popular and best-regarded AVNs of all time? Sure there's a couple soulless nukige there, where the story is just an excuse for the parade of sex scenes and heavy milking of tasteless Patreon fanbases who won't ever stop supporting because they don't know how to find porn for free... But besides a few of those, there are also games like Once in a Lifetime and Now & Then. Hell, even Such a Sharp Pain and the late, lamented Australian-dev game (which we don't have to mention again in this thread), if we're going outside mainstream. These are all very popular games, which are all quite story-heavy.

Ravenous is in fine company with an engaging story and likable characters, IMO. There are a couple things I'd have done differently if I was writing it, sure, but that's happened with almost every piece of fiction I have enjoyed. They're works that make me want to make my own to stand beside them. So, yeah, I'm very much enjoying consuming it as it currently is, and I am absolutely positive that I am not remotely alone.

While cute are like an appetizer and not so much a meal that satisfies like something with far more thought put into it as far as context and character development, like this game Ravenous, which is rich in both and I do enjoy it otherwise I wouldn't waste my time giving my poorly writ haughty little bitch opinions on.
The dev has a clear vision and is doing what he likes and sharing it which most are in agreement its pretty fucken awesome because he's taken the time to craft it with uncommon quality - which does take time.
Its a strange pitch Loli + Horror, or maybe I got that backwards, it's a horror game with loli's in it? Maybe that's my confusion but either way I'm also being impatient because my time is compacted and maybe I should wait until I have more time to spend as this game appears more of a meal than a snack.
Yet I'm not such a lame Tosser to be entertained by animated loops as story, character and context matter enough when I reach for my gun.

Those are usually nukige, but not all nukige are that. It's usually used to refer to Japanese games of the type, but at this point all it means is "a game with only the slightest attempt at a story, no attention paid to things like consistency or verisimilitude, and which jumps straight into the sex as quickly as possible with only the thinnest veneer of justification for the sex scenes, since those are the entirety of the point of the game". It's the combination of "lots of ridiculous sex right away" and "almost no effort put into the story or characters".

That means "kinetic novel" - no walk through required. It also says this several times on the OP. Choices don't change anything in the story - you opt into seeing a scene or you don't, but the story stays the same and it assumes you did the things in the scene that you skipped.

There are no H scenes in most of the story. The few that do pop up are hot. The MC only gets laid through all of Arc One three times if my memory serves.. I'm more then a couple hours into Arc 2 and have only gotten laid once. It's kintetic novel, so you can't really pick a wrong choice and miss a scene. There are a couple other lewd scenes thrown in here and there (handjob, bj). The story is ok but the renders of these girls is what is keeping me around. There's to many good looking girls in this game, I have no idea why after two arcs and 4 to 5 hours of gameplay the MC isn't more involved with them. Here's hoping the action (H scenes) pick up toward the back end of arc 2.

This is my sentiment so far. It's a good story, and the renders are really nice. The anticipation of some hot scenes that will pay off keeps me playing.
