Yea I mean it's obviously going to be a temporary thing, nobody's going to bother wasting money on this long term, but we're doing this in America too. Took effect start of this year, I think. I mean, only the biggest sites are actually affected and/or care about it. Only 99% of the internet is porn, so it's a really hard to find alternatives.

Yea, and the point of having huge cash reserves is that you can throw a few million to a politician here or there to lobby for change.

There's just no way this kind of law stays around. These sites make too much money and have too much interest in keeping users to allow it. Throw a few mil at some politicians, they'll spout some about government interference and "the parents should determine what their kids see", we're wasting tons of money on enforcement that doesn't do anything, etc etc., and the laws will disappear.
