I understand why you might want to protect childs from stubbing upon porn, but tracking who access it and storing that info is just one more step into the complet control over our data that government and companies are forcing upon us... Implementing such kind of check is nearly impossible and extremly expensive. That's why nobody does that and reather geoblock a country.

It may sound sexist, but I blame women. Did a research paper on the femininity of government and thought it was going to be a good topic because I think women pretty much domesticated us all. Well, I was half right. Long story short, women are much more sympathetic and accepting of others than men which has led to a much gentler society and likely a huge decrease in crime. The downside is that people tend to misbehavior a lot more in that environment. Recent studies have shown that children are 800% more likely to misbehave with women than men. A microcosm of this issue is seen in single female parent households (not all liked to poverty btw). We need balance. Yin and yang. Too much of one is very bad for society.

Women were the driving force behind Prohibition and that was a disaster. But they also led the Child Labor laws, which were very good.

Yea I mean it's obviously going to be a temporary thing, nobody's going to bother wasting money on this long term, but we're doing this in America too. Took effect start of this year, I think. I mean, only the biggest sites are actually affected and/or care about it. Only 99% of the internet is porn, so it's a really hard to find alternatives.
