I don't know if Mulholland Drive is considered a horror movie but it freaked me out and it was part of my cognizance for several days.

Anyone give Shogun a watch?

I was pretty much transported to Japan while watching it . It had great use of subtle themes and great acting for complex political schemes.

It was so well written (based of a book/historical events) and made me desired something of this quality else where. An epic political/military drama about Napoleon's court would be amazing.

Glad you enjoyed the share also yes i did sense i do not feel like giving disney cash and moved to another country i watched it bootleg so the audio/video was not the best but i still enjoyed it.

Just to bad like the first tvshow they never went 1:1 with the book and its just over still a great tv show for the 2020's heck they showed armies that actually had people unlike star wars 400million dollar show were even after they hired fans via free mc donalds there big force was 20 people heck evacuate a town in modern star wars you get 5 actors copy pasted to make it look like 50 or so lived in that town.

So for the budget/source the fact it was Disney it was like i said good tv show.


Now we get assassin creed shadows that pisses on history worse than netflix cleopatra even hiring a child molester to go onto ign to defend the game.

for me: return of the living dead (1985), scream (1996), lake mungo (2008), blackcoat's daughter (2015), the evil dead (1981)

not much good horror over the past couple years at least to my taste, but i really liked the passenger from last year. but it's more of a thriller.

Midsommar is a very good movie you can watch if you want to be traumatized for a couple of weeks

Ghost of tusmia and its squeal have that title now i can see shadows being another flop like all other ubi slop last 4 years the company getting taken over by tencient and then it will be like m$ loads of ips but just live service crap on mobile tencient is known for.

The entire show is about kids waiting to go back to there home world after they activated auto pilot on a starship in that procces revealing to pirates of there home world that in turn contains a money production building.

I said on the star wars reddit the show seemed pointless because the entire time 0 people used the ships navigation system to return home i was negative spam hatted asap guess common sense is not allowed anymore on star wars.

Not to mention clone wars kids killed people but here these kids have 0 brains 0 survival instincts and always trust strangers i am expecting them to land in a sand planet soon.

Oh also making trillions of currency just kills the market look at Africa some places the dollar is worth so little you can spend a billion on a burger/fries.

Do not get me started on the trash madalorian after he was forced to keep gogru in the show and the horrible way they handled the ghost crew return ahsoka/sabine made to be retards at the end just left them behind i can rant for a long time on the new trash star wars.

Is Skeleton Crew more than just a Long John Silver story? I liked Andor, but Kenobi was so bad, I gave up on Disney+ Star Wars.

Honestly I just cancelled my Disney+ subscription because of the shows quality has been going down and going woke. The worst thing Lucasfilms did was sell the rights to Disney… Not saying everything was perfect before but now it’s just getting milked dry for any story with no substance

Yeah, they clearly tried to buy an established fan base. Then they had the hubris to claim they were building a new modern fan base while expecting to old one to follow blindly. With poor writing and directing, they feel confident to shovel out more content, but I find it hard to believe they've made it worth their initial purchase.

That’s it mate. Wish they also focused more on the sith, like starkiller or Darth Revan and make shows around them. Instead we get another instance of why jedi good boys, sith bad boys.

If you spend some time doing research they are actually are in the red as a whole some stars wars stuff made money but the toys from the new trilogy were giving the et treatment the shows have been more finical failures then wins and did you now they spent billions on a them park/resort around the new trilogy making rey the centerpiece it was shutdown do too lack of profits they paid a staff of hundreds to sit around play games articles state it was normal to have occupancy as low as 8%.

The last star wars content also started to hire off the streets people heck remember Acolyte one of the lead jedi actors had 0 training just was there because she was a wife of someone in position i think it was the lead writer?

But yeah overall they have lost money sense buying the ip if you include toys/media/games/them parks

I wish more people would take an interest in OBSOLETE.
it's an animated series created when youtube was still trying to produce original content for its prenium (it's now available on normal youtube).
it's a great synopsis: Aliens have contacted all humanity to propose an exchange. one of their obselete technologies for 1 ton of limestone. the aliens are here mostly a pretext to imagine what would happen if every country and organization in the world suddenly had access to the same advanced technological base.

It was so well written (based of a book/historical events) and made me desired something of this quality else where. An epic political/military drama about Napoleon's court would be amazing.

Shogun is a must-see. Mostly shot in Canada due to pandemic travel restrictions! There was a well-regarded miniseries version made around 1980 which was actually shot in Japan, but I have not seen it. Supposedly excellent for the time.

(The book is fiction very loosely based on real events.)
