The bleakness of the movie Threads makes me hope War never escalates to the point we start nuking eachother. I like Post-Apocalyptic films and games, but that movie can become a reality.

Also, the frustration throughout the entire movie Eden Lake, one of the movies I don't want to sit through again.

Shawshank Redemption.

I read the short story while in school and thought it was pretty good. Brooding. Subversive. A triumph of perseverance. Then the movie came out.

There have been very, very few novels/novellas/etc. that have been made into successful movies that really grabbed the whole paradigm of the story and never let it go. If anything, the movie was even better than the short story. Every line in the movie is impactful. Every shot. Beautiful movie at a poignant time of my life.

Star Wars opened me up the world of cinema. In a roundabout way its why I got into mythology, science fiction and fantasy. Foreign films, anime. Westerns, swashbucklers, monster movies.

The Death of Stalin is a wonderfully black comedy. The icing on the cake is Jason Isaac's hilarious portrayal of Georgy Zhukov.

for me: return of the living dead (1985), scream (1996), lake mungo (2008), blackcoat's daughter (2015), the evil dead (1981)

not much good horror over the past couple years at least to my taste, but i really liked the passenger from last year. but it's more of a thriller.

Ah! Linnea Quigley with her kit off (again!). A scream queen legend.
I used to have a 12" picture disc with her topless from this film. I can't recall if it was the OST or just a 12" of the Cramps' track Surfin' Dead from the movie.

It was called Sparticus - Blood and Sand but we called it Blood and Tits. Every episode has one or the other or both, if there are not many tits out then there will be plenty of blood instead (and vice versa). But also try Black Sails, that was so much better than expected and got even better over time. Some cracking tits and bush in it too!

Well there was 2 shows just a fyi the first like you said had alot but so did the second one katrina law ncis/arrow/dc some marvel does full nude scene in it she got abs trimmed bush.

I really like that the movie shows the aftermath of the nuclear explosion and how britain became semi feudal and with a inept youth. It's a shame that other movies can't capture that aftermath feeling, except for The Rover , that movie did it well.

Anyone give Shogun a watch?

I was pretty much transported to Japan while watching it . It had great use of subtle themes and great acting for complex political schemes.

It was so well written (based of a book/historical events) and made me desired something of this quality else where. An epic political/military drama about Napoleon's court would be amazing.
