Hey all, I wondered if some of you might know some gem in the field that I have somehow overlooked. I'll start off with a list of games I played and how I liked them to give an idea. In general I'd prefer if the game had some sort of simulation and/or RPG aspect. Slavery is fine (in games anyway), but not explicitly what I'm looking for.

Loved

SexBot Restoration 2124
Brothel King
SoldGirl Town
Jack o' Nine Tails
Masters of Raana
Strive for Power (1 +2)
Dohna Dohna

Liked

Monster Girl Club Bifrost
Reaper's Club
Sim Brothel 2 Revival
PytFall
SlaveMaker
PornEmpire

Disliked

Red Sakura Mansion
Station Master
Club 53

No go
+ Shallow slideshows without actual gameplay
+ Probably excellent games that are text-only, like FreeCities. I just can't XD

Brothel Megacorporation

My first introduction to this genre was a simple Brothel Manager on Newgrounds back in the day. You pick a starting anime character and work up your finances. Looking after your girls' health, paying for training, wardrobe upgrades, facility upgrades, etc. At the end of every turn, there would be a collection of fanart of each character that worked, with plenty of variety. It seemed a much more vanilla version of Jack-o-nine-tails. I wonder if this kind of simple management game tied with AI art would catch on.

Almost certain you're referring to Sim Brothel. Ancient game, but that was actually the first of this variety I've ever played

even though i can't help you find the games you want, that list you made is going to help me. Thank you for your service

It's more lighthearted than most in the genre, but Secret Care Cafe is really good. The girls are great and the management mechanics are fun and not grindy.

It is a netorase game though, because one of the girls is your girlfriend and you can start relationships with the others. Doubt that'd bother many people who are looking for these kinds of games, but i thought I mention it .

Jack o' Nine Tails has a special place in my heart, this game has been arround for so long a still, some ppl make mods/updates very oftem. it simulate very good a dystopian fantasy with a LOT of things to do, it take some time to learn the mechanics but i tell you this: its worth it. Go play it.

Secret Care Cafe and Pale Carnations are fun if you like sharing and general depravity.

In Living in a Brothel (not available on this site yet, but at the obvious other place), the MC gets hired by a female friend who bought a hotel and is turning it into an ethical brothel. I really like it, but the story doesn't go very far yet and the developer seems to be a bit inexperienced. It has a sandbox mechanism which so far doesn't add anything except the occasional confusion as to where you need to click to go to a certain place. Progress isn't super fast, either. I can see why it's rated only 2.5 out of 5 stars on the other site, although for me the promising setting and the quality of the renders raise it to 4 stars. There isn't much prostitution there yet, but it's clearly coming.

AlwaysFan is a completed game that has a lot of similarities with Pale Carnations. It is less ambitious in some ways, especially the quality of the renders, but it makes up for this with the fact that you can have wildly different experiences depending on how you play. For example, the MC can make the first love interest (an albino) his girlfriend and be very protective of her. Or he can pimp her out with little if any regard for her health and safety. Several compromise paths between these extremes are possible. Of course the MC can also be monogamous or build a harem, either exclusive or with sharing. Similar to where Pale Carnations may be headed, there is also an actual game here, in the form of a criminal case that can have a variety of outcomes. It's possible to rescue all the victims and get all the criminals locked up, but it's just as possible to run into a less ideal outcome.

Both are visual novels. Even though Living in a Brothel is in sandbox format and AlwaysFan isn't, I guess you could characterize Living in a Brothel as a 'shallow slideshow' (original post), but not AlwaysFan with its heavy branching.
