The dev announced in Discord yesterday that his Dad just died, so the update is not his current priority.

So maybe after the funeral = another month. Another possibility that wouldn't surprise me is he was part of the SS purge or will be by that point. Sad, but looks like another abandoned tag is headed this way. I'm unsubbing to everyone on SS anyway (no alt payment method? well I tried looking for one at least) and this was one of the last 4, thanks for the heads up. I also know a couple of other devs that fell behind a few times and both their parents died twice. When it rains it pours I guess.

I don't think so, honestly. He's already shown that he can go on a long hiatus, then pick it back up again, so I'm sticking around for this one.

That's not something one can "get over" easily if there's actual attachment to said parent. Been going for almost a decade after losing my mom and now I really understand the whole "Bruce Wayne died in that alley" thing. I hope the Dev's pain can become tolerable enough to function without spiraling into a deep depression.

He said he's "fine", just a more weird than depressing situation. 4.5 is already out and added to public tier on the 13th irrc, so apparently it was just a minor setback more than anything. I haven't spoke to my parents in 14-15 years and don't think they are dead but if I was told so tomorrow I guess I'd feel weird too but carry on.
