I just wanted to say thanks again for everyone who came in and talked about anime with me and others. Really cool to see some love on here... not always the case. For now, I am a pumpkin and shall be retiring, but I will be back periodically to check on our little anime family.

Its a really good thread, something to talk about i actually have a passion for that isn't AVN. Nice to find people who aren't posers who actually have some knowledge about the subject, and don't look at me like i'm an idiot for enjoying quote unquote anime porn.

Never dedicated myself fully to the anime world, I've seen some stuff but that was it. Saw some hentai stuff which was fun but again nothing more. So no, the anime had no whatsoever impact that got me to this place.

I'm not a big anime fan either, but I would mention the Hellsing series for its good atmosphere.

Just watched Chainsaw Man after not having watched anime for years, insanely good!

Gintama is my favorite anime.

I watched the whole Gintama series in 2 weeks

I'm a big fan of No Game No Life (even more the Movie which has almost nothing in common with the series)
Also HxH that I watch once every year
And some that come back in my head rn are Katanagatari and NHK ni youkoso

I mostly watched romance (and couldn't find anything good anymore) but nothing was at the top of my list that I remember at least

Stopped watching anime some years ago now I'm more of a Manhua person

My favorite used to be the old Trigun but it is now competing with Steins;Gate and K-On
