You often end up with some strange things when translating from Japanese to English. I saw this when I was on the main page:

And wondered "What the fuck is that combination of words supposed to mean in the original language?"

Looked at it; explanation wasn't much better, but slightly more decipherable. I guess "Child Rapist Grooming a Girl on a Train" wouldn't go over as well, so it is what it is.

That the title when you hard translate this

I talk with quite a lot of people from around the world - not just this site - and the knowledge some people have of English, especially if they've studied it, really outshines most native speakers. Native speakers are absolutely lazy with their language and 99% don't know the etymology of any of the words they use. So, I can totally understand that. My Mom still texts "Your" when she means either Your/You're and it drives me insane. But then, she's an older lady, so... Don't think correcting her grammar is high on her priorities.

At least she doesn't text 'Ur'
