So if I had written, "Hello, just passing by. Sorry that I have not spent my time on reading all 3400+ posts, but I wish you all well"
Would that have been accepted??

In theory, yes?

But seriously, the only mandatory backread is the first post of this thread. That dictates the guidelines of our interactions here.

Yeah and the second I'm allowed to leave I will be. We have to stay for food and a few other things. But once that's over I'll be right out the door. I was a huge flirt when I got drunk. Helps that I knew all the waitresses at the eagles club i drank at. But I had no shame. Some of the things I said to them would get a normal person slapped a lot lol.
I do the same thing. I hate being forced to party, even on someone else's time. I have much more fun shooting the bull in places like here.
Its more organic and the reactions are often funny.

I feel like it's important to mention that backreading is considered a polite thing to do though

So it's Friday the 13th -- Unlucky? Well for most of us it's a pretty typical day - unless you are a Knight Templar. For them -- Not so much. They had a pretty good run -- Being formed shortly after the First Crusade in 1099, they amassed huge amounts of wealth and power. But, of course, this pissed off the politicians and church (some things never change) At dawn on Friday, 13 October 1307 – a date that helped influence the superstition of the popular stories about Friday the 13th – King Philip IV ordered de Molay and scores of other French Templars to be simultaneously arrested. The arrest warrant started with the words: "Dieu n'est pas content, nous avons des ennemis de la foi dans le Royaume" ("God is not pleased. We have enemies of the faith in the kingdom") but could have been shortened to -- "You pissed off the wrong Pope" And so ended the Knights Templar.

Wait, that's the actual origin of the Friday the 13th superstition? ... All this time I thought it had to do with an old horror movie franchise

You shouldn't propose people to lick their butt, then don't do it!
Hmmmmmmm You make a good point -- I will have to think on this while I prepare my snack

... It's called a joke... If you look that verse up, you would understand that I was making a joke, shitting on the pope. before someone takes it the wrong way again

I wouldn't call anything in this thread a war, more like we post funny pig pictures, and no one fights back.
Yep -- Pigs are generally ok -- but make one post about eating cats and instantly everybody has an opinion.

Eh, 🤷‍♂️. I joke because taking everything in life seriously all the time gets depressing, demoralizing, and aggravating. I already think like the stereotypical grumpy old man, I'd rather not have the outlook to go with it before I even reach my late 20s,

Oh, be a dick but in my butt would be a win-win situation i think!
