Surprisingly enough, there is an actual game here with point-and-click puzzle solving goodness. The sexual elements are, at least for now, in the background but the story seems to be moving forward. Worth keeping an eye on.

Yeah, I gave up on playing it. I wish the dev huge success with it, but unfortunately it left behind the cute romance that made MIST such a great story.

Yeah, I gave up on playing it. I wish the dev huge success with it, but unfortunately it left behind the cute romance that made MIST such a great story.

I might try it again in a year or so to see if it gets better but I have not much hope

STORY: The story continues, introducing you to the next veil.

THREE SEX SCENES:

• Two new scenes for Kasia
• One new scene for Moran

THREE NEW DATES:

• Two dates for Kasia
• One date for Moran

SPRITES: A new sprite system has been added, allowing for more dynamic and adaptable dialogue. Depending on your progress, different characters and dialogue will appear at different moments.
This feature will have a bigger impact in future updates, but it's already nice.
HANGOUTS: Two new hangout events for Kasia, including a brand-new hangout animation.

NEW PIN-UPS: Several new pin-up albums:

• Three for Kasia
• One for Moran

NEW LOCATION: Kasia’s apartment has been added as a new location in the city.
NEW VEIL: The next veil is introduced. While you won’t see much of it just yet, it will come fully into play in the next update.

Changed Content:

PIN-UP VIEWER: The pin-up viewer is now more intuitive. You can switch between images while staying in the menu, making navigation more comfortable and less confusing.
NAME CHANGE: You can now change your name by clicking on the lamp in the attic.
PATREON PIN-UPS: As a thank you to all patrons for their continued support, I’ve added a secret code that unlocks additional pin-up images for every set in the game. The code will be shared in a separate post. You unlock these additional pin-ups by clicking on the lamp in the attic.

SMALL CHANGES:

• A few changes to wrong images in the prolog of the game that I didn't catch before.
• Made a very minor tweak so some dialog here and there. Nothing big or worth mentioning.
• Changed a few earlier scenes in the game to use the new sprites. Nothing major.
• Small changes to one of the tutorial screens.
• Added a little foreshadowing in one date.
• Changed the way that the "demon search" event in chapter two is triggered. It was a bit inconsistent before and should now work a bit better.

FIXES:

• Honestly, I can’t remember much, but a few bugs were fixed here and there.
• One known issue: skipping during interrogation events can mess up the speech bubbles. I haven’t found a reliable solution for this yet.

The Dev appears to have thrown in the towel on further developments of this VN (according to a message on Itch). A pity, but I'm not really surprised; trying to better - or even equal - the quality of Mist was going to be a tough ask, and unfortunately CoM didn't come anywhere close to the earlier VN.

I tried the first few releases and just couldn't get into it. I would agree that it was interesting but even if it hadn't come with 'Mist' expectations I still wouldn't have been a fan. There's just something about it that doesn't catch you like so many other AVNs do.
