What I have so far:

4x32GB RAM
2x Samsung 990 M.2 4 TB SSD
EVGA 1300 Watt modular PSU
2xAsus 28" 4K monitors
Noctua NH-D15

Trying to gauge if a 4080 super is worth it, what CPU to pair for AI image rendering.

Currently running a Ryzen 1800 X +1080 Ti and it'll do a few images a min but VRAM loads up FAST.

I'm not an expert Artist by any means.

I would enjoy playing Balder's Gate and Cyber Punk on Ultra realistic, but not a need.

Thoughts?

Honestly might be better to wait a bit 50 series and rx 8000 series is like right around the corner, 4080 super/4070 ti super would be fine Also from my understanding amd doesn't do to well with ai stuff. For the CPU id go amd like 7800x3d/9800x3d if you can find one not over 500 usd or a 7700/ 7700x you're gonna need to change out everything since I'm pretty sure you're currently on DDR4, motherboard too (which is a given if you're getting a new CPU) will probably need to be changed since it's most likely pcie gen 3 and that'll hurt performance a little on anything above a 4060 ti, psu should be fine. 4080 super is 999 USD 4070 ti super is 799/759 it's only 20% slower same amount of vram too
