discussion [Resolved] I can't read the forums

If I try to browse any of the forums, they look like this:

You must be registered to see attachments

Thats a shrunken & cropped photo of course but my browser window is most of my 1920x1080 resolution so its not like the window is too small. I haven't the slightest clue what is causing this. Probably a browser setting but this is the only forum where it happens. I'm in incognito mode of chrome, I guess I could log in through Firefox instead but for some reason I don't remember anymore I do all my nsfw stuff under incognito chrome instead of a firefox private window.

Any ideas what might be doing this?

When did this happen?? I see that u already have Members+ & P1 so you must have had normal screens b4.

Maybe open a ticket, the support on this website for issues like this is really good (from my experience) and I'm sure they can either fix it for you or help guide you through it so it doesn't happen again.

Sometimes a system restart and clearing cookies fixes stuff like this for me. I'm not super technical savvy. Sorry I can't help more, but that's what I'd do. Or try duck duck go.

I haven't because I had been keeping NSFW stuff completely off of Firefox, but I'll check in private mode on there and see.
Yep, looks perfectly find in Firefox private browsing mode. So its Chrome specific, but I want it to work on Chrome if possible.

That I'm not sure, because most of my interaction with the forums has been directly through the game pages. I only started trying to look at the forum itself within the last couple months and I might have already gotten Members+ by then.

Maybe open a ticket, the support on this website for issues like this is really good (from my experience) and I'm sure they can either fix it for you or help guide you through it so it doesn't happen again.

Oh I didn't know we had a ticket system, I'll give that a try, thanks!

Edit: Apparently I did know we have a ticket system because I have an existing resolved ticket about something else.

You could also try force-reloading the site in your browser. In most browsers this can be done holding down the alt key (option key on Mac) and pressing the reload button (in Firefox its a circular arrow icon going clockwise direction). If that does not work maybe try it with different keys like control or shift.

A normal (not forced) reload will still use files your browser has cached .. which is especially problematic with stylesheet files for some reason.

Thanks for the suggestion! Just tried it, didn't change anything sadly. I actually thought that forced refresh was control instead of alt, but I tried both and neither did anything. :/

Something similar I have encountered when using OPERA. It was cured by cleaning the cache and cookies.
Or try using a different browser.

Try a complete reset of Chrome to factory settings. Or use Brave. It's a really nice browser. You can give it a chance.

It was the style chooser in the lower left corner of the site! I don't think I've ever hit that (on purpose anyway) but it was on LewCorner v4. I switched it to v5 and now everything looks normal.
