one user on that list started using a 'glitch' to be online 24/7 while invisible to normal users since around Oct 24, and after that I had to focus on my work so I couldn't be online that much anymore, a shame, but I'm still glad that we have people who are taking care of the site, even if you're a normal user

one user on that list started using a 'glitch' to be online 24/7 while invisible to normal users since around Oct 24, and after that I had to focus on my work so I couldn't be online that much anymore, a shame, but I'm still glad that we have people who are taking care of the site, even if you're a normal user

Also wasn't it 2? I though avenger and broken were doing some refresh shenanigans to stay always online haha

I mean, every media storage form factor has had its issues.
CD/DVD/etc/s get scratched, don't quite work while moving (who remembers the cd walkman?) audio quality isn't the "best" if you're an audiophile, which I'm not.
Hard drives are susceptible to movement as well (original ipods/mp3s), they're bulky and have moving parts.
SSDs can't work as long term storage because their data can be lost if they're not powered on.
USB sticks get corrupted all the time...
Same with SD cards...

You could argue modern CDs are already "audiophile" quality, 44khz 16 bit is all you need to recreate the entire human hearing range. any more than that comes down to your listening equipment or the mastering on the track
