So if someone were making a game you really REALLY want to play, you would prefer it to have a female protag. Me too. But if they are deciding between a futa or a male protag, you would still prefer it to be a male protag and just not play it because futa is degrading to woman?

I actually don't hear many people ask for futa randomly like they do with NTR. I don't really care what the content is as long as it's avoidable. If people want NTR, fine, just make it optional. It doesn't happen if you don't want it to happen. Your LI's can go ahead and reject anyone but the MC if you want it that way. But why kink shame the people who enjoy it? I see this same complaint about 'it will destroy the game' in many other threads for lots of other content. This thread mentions the popularity of incest. Go see the Being A DIK thread on Cuck95 and others like it (WMV etc) and see what happens to anyone who even mentions incest there. A patch or an optional scene would in no way destroy shit but if it's not peoples' fetish, they don't want anyone else to enjoy it. That's all it is. 'A dev shouldn't waste time rendering things I don't like when he can instead render 1000 more scenes of the exact same shit that I've already seen in the game coz that's all I'm interested in'. You could try to find the answer by reading the whole sentence you are refereing to. I'm pretty sure there was something like "without causing harm to others" in it. I give a fuck about traditions, not a single one is worth to be kept alive. Most likely the motivation to do the shit game devs do is because of money. Most devs are about making money, not art or a good game. This industry attracted and supported many of the wrong types of people that ruined gaming for many of us.

I always make sure to deliver anal sex options in my games. My opinion on anal sex is that devs should try to include it, even if it's just an option.

Yeah, but to be fair, every game with multiple possible LI's get demands for a harem as well.
Imho devs should make all the stuff they dont NEED for the games plot avoidable, be it hardlined with a toggle in the settings/after asking once or a softlock/skip for scenes. That way everyone can avoid the content they dont want.
