There are so many. I will start with few that are most famous. The Cure. It is a Japanese only movie, then Rungu. This is Japanese version of Ring, and if you seen ring you can compare. Then, one of my favorite is Grudge, but some are weird for foreigners. In fact, if you do Google search you can come up with lots, and most I seen are really enjoyable. It depends if you like scary Horror or comedy. japan has all kind. Plus Ugetsu is old one and I can recommend some very old Japan horror if you like.

Japanese horror is hit or miss depending on the movie, that or to slow to the scare/point if any.

Yeah - I noticed that. The @TheDude14 has a pretty small head and I had to stretch him pretty good to cover Vince's head.

I hate the inflation tax for other countries on things, yeah Switch is a perfectly fine machine

Here in Brazil we are used to paying (or pricing) anything new at 10x the price in dollars, even if the exchange rate is lower, because new products usually only come through the gray market. Nowadays is better, with the companies having representatives here. But some years ago, it was usual for a PlayStation to be 400 USD and in Brazil 4000 BRL.

Already have not enough time to finish/play games I would like to. I don't mind waiting a bit more to add hundreds more to the list. And it's not even really cheap to get a switch yet ... (lite is cheap, but I don't want it)
Then waiting a bit more to buy the next one also allow to be ready for next games too.
(if it wasn't already announced backward compatible, that would be a totally different thing)

The backward compatibility is a blessing, and if you are not in a hurry, ok to wait
Just remember, we only have a few information on it, we don't have any date, not for announcing, not for release.

The Cure or (noroi) in Japanese is based on detective investigation/horror/ kinda realistic as in like a real true story. It is Japanese but I don't know you will have seen.

Ok, some more. I think old. Onibaba, Audition. Takashi Miike is really good director, so check out his Horror movies. You should watch Tetsuo. 1989 Horror. English is called Iron Man. It is pretty good. I will need to remember some more. I forgot many

This movie is really great. I know subtitles is hard to many people but honestly, I watched Ring in American retake and couple other and none was even close to as good. I never watched Chackushin Ari, but I heard of it. I think it is most likely very decent movie. Takashi Miike is director and all his movies are extra wonderful. Some weird and bit gory at times but he is legend of Japanese Horror. i admire his movies, but only seen couple so far.

It sounds like you already understand somethings of Japanese Horror. They are not like Hollywood jumps care and that style. More like storyline and yes, can be slow for some, but another one I just thought is Noriko Dinner Table. It one of those weird ones but I like it. There is one called Strange Circus, but it is something to do with father abuse child, with very strange Horror theme and unusual story plot. I found id disturbing and not sure If I liked it. Maybe it can be something. Just read up about before watching. Its totally crazy. Not the movie for most people I feel, but could be? I probably should stop here lol.

One of my favorite Japanese horror movies is 2004's.. Infection. 感染

Im down for a good story and all imo it should not take 100min out of 120min for horror to start(I know im over exasperating it)
