Yeah i know. For lesbians movies, i prefer those from women directors (if possible lesbians themselves). "La vie d'Adèle" is a good film, but director Abdellatif Kechiche is reported to have been abusive against technicians and actresses, to have male gaze sex scenes and he's also accused of sexual abuse by a woman outside of his filmmaker life, so a controversial man and not the best person to do a lesbian film.

I wasn't aware of this BTS. 🤬

Unfortunately it's a wide problem with male french actors (example: Gérard Depardieu), directors (example: Luc Besson, which is widely known for the Fifth Element) and producers, we have many Weinstein here too and they have near impunity in the name of "the French cultural exception".

The most blatant case I know of is that of roman polanski (yes, no caps). But the kind of ego involved in this kind of environment is a recipe for disaster.

First woman to ever win the Nobel Prize in physics (1903) and then won another prize in chemistry (1911) for discovering the elements radium and polonium while coining the term "radioactivity". Ladies and gents, I present you Marie Curie. Don't blow your load all at once.

When a sexist journalist ask her "how does it feel to be the wife of a genius?" (her husband, Pierre Curie, was also a really good physicist and Nobel prize), she answer "you should ask that to my husband".

She's the only one to have ever win both Nobel prize for physics and chemistry.

Curie family also have record of the most nobel prize in a single family:

- in 1903, physics prize for Pierre and Marie Curie

- in 1911, chemistry prize for Marie Curie

- in 1935, chemistry prize for their daughter, Irène Joliot-Curie and her husband Frederic Joliot-Curie.

I wasn't aware of this BTS. 🤬

Yeah, totally, Polansky is still admired in France, even got a prize a few years ago, when everywhere else in the world he's considered a rapist.

Depardieu case is like that too. He's notoriously alcoholic. There is lot of pics showing him force kissing or groping unwilling women just trying to do their job on stage. The man also admited decades ago in an american newspaper that he gangraped a woman when he was young. It causes a big reaction in America but none in France. He's doing all that for decades, everyone in the french filmmaking world know that, he's dozen of trial because of women sueing him, but no problem, he's still hired to play in movies.

Wait till you get to the beach fight...
Yeah. gravity´s a bitch. That´s why I don´t like big boobs. especially on older women. An A cup in middle 30 still looks good. Cause gravity does not have much of an impact, you know?
Guess. I´m here for a reason. right?

I hope you all like Nerdy Girls, because that's the theme today!

Chess is nerdy and so are these girls. Fictional or real. (Botez sisters will crush any average player and look good while doing it.)

I never heard of this, but I remember a few years back he pissed on the floor on a plane.

Been a long time since i've been on this site...i have to figure out how to get coins again, and i could have sworn there was a killer thread with ai images...can't find it though, unless it's morphed in this
As i have recently found out, ai is not allowed here, u can get coins by interacting with people and get liked. Also there are some @mime contests for ai pictures but you will have to ask him about joining those i guess
