There was also the notion that it fell out of favor, because ppl did not support it. So, @Nastastic remembers exactly the same things that I do. I was going suspicious that I've gone crazy The Dev is just gaslighting us here by not saying openly what happens.

I disagree with that train of thought until it actually happens, as long as the dev did not straight up say this is what they are doing. It seems like a lot of assumptions based on paranoia.

He put out a poll to subscribers and followers on Discord asking if they minded a delay in the release because he is going on vacation in November and the update won't be done by then, or if they preferred it being released as is and then another update later to finish off the content. He also asked about releasing the demo for a new dark smolls game. In the question, he described the release as:


Based on that, it sounds like the update will wrap up the OG game while starting off the new Whispering Pines. The overwhelming vote seems in favor of releasing the new demo before vacation and finishing WP after. I'm fine with that, I have waited this long already, a few more weeks won't kill me.

That dark smols game is a seperate game from what I understand, like a fully seperate game unrelated to swp. Also I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think the dev would just give up a story solely because a lot of people don’t support it. We’ve seen time and time again that seath usually chooses passion over anything else, I would be surprised if this changed here. We will see soonish I guess.

Well, AFAIR the official reason was not to mess with the stuff until the court hearing, in order not to further harm the original Dev. May be that is also the case.

Yeah and it seems to be a banned topic here as well sadly but sentencing came and went back on Aug 26th last I read (no more recent news as all info on that is paywalled by local media last I searched) so unless something else happened that's no longer a valid reason unless he was sent to prison and Seath is waiting for his release or something (which could be over a decade, sadly).

It won't GIVE yu the password... but it does give you all the CLUES you need to figure it out. It's a combination of 2 words you encounter in those clues that are put together as one compound word.

• The ending of SWP.
• You will play as ALL main characters from ALL my games.
• Marcus. Playable with some answers from his game told in here regarding Lilith's departure from TG.
• Marshal. Playable with the answers as to why he lost his memory in PA. All answers and endings for his story line from SWP and PA connections.
• James (MC from SWP) His ending to his story arc for his game.
• Warren (The new MC for RWP) He has the most content, as it is his game, but James comes to a close second in content.
• Father. Yes, you get to play as him.
• A ??? person, whom I won't spoil. They will be playable as well.
• All SWP girls will have content.
• Some TG girls content.
• New girls for the new MC.
• Endings and Deaths for old and current people. (Deaths are avoidable, but that's up to you to decide, or prevent)
• Special endings for 10 people. Male and female alike. All with different outcomes.
• New endings added with this last few days I've been working on.
• Over 2000 renders. Let me put that into perspective. TLG had 1300. PA updates have about 550. This is a huge endeavor. No joke.
• 70 animations. That is almost 3 times more than a PA update.
• Ability to play how you want with your MC. As dark or as loving as you want.
• A new start for SWP brand.
• A dark path ONLY for those who want it. It will greatly change everyone around you.
• A new play through after can and will show how greatly the changes are with new scenes, and options that open.
• Over 150 new songs, and sounds.
• And a finale that will leave you wanting more... or maybe you leaving my discord. I am known for my... shock endings. And there is no doubt, I went into it with some fucking fucked shockers here.
• All fetishes are optional. Peeplay, rape, drugs, petite rape, death, gore, and a ton more.
• And too much to add here. Some are surprises I do not want to spoil here.

I will be handing this off to my coder and testers soon. And after they get done, I'll have a more pinned down release date.

yeah considering some full/completed AVNs only have 10-20k renders after sometimes 3-5 years or so that 1 update is like 1/5 of a whole AVN. I guess Seath has no real life, or has insomnia, or both.

Arguably the best trailer for an adult game I've seen (but to be fair I haven't seen many), I haven't even played S1, but wow! What really got me was the song/lyrics, overall tone was amazing as well. Don't know how to 'like' it but I would if I could.

It kind of depends on the game. There are some dark elements in all of them. I would say this is probably one of the darker ones because it plays out more like a horror movie. But there are games like The guardian that aren't that dark.

The new update isn't release yet, but the "release dates will be given out VERY soon," according to the dev in his discord.
