i have no clue of anything he has achieved. far as i know he is someone who got rich off his dad's wealth and probably connections.

I don't think that's accurate. I don't think that his father paid for anything after Elon got out of college. Yes, he had a free ride for his education. I don't think his father contributed anything to any of Elon's businesses. I think Elon supports his father at this point, because of the bad decisions made somewhere along the line.

SpaceX, a private company (as opposed to government), has launched more satellites than everybody else combined. In addition to that, they currently launch almost 90% of the total payload by weight. They design re-usable rockets so that the cost to launch is less than anybody else. They have successfully launched the largest rocket ever built, and landed the largest booster safely for re-use.

And the electric cars, solar panels, battery technology, etc. Most of these are because he's willing to try new things, instead of doing them the way everybody else does.

I admit, I might feel differently if his company didn't provide me great internet where I once had none.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, when I get around to them, think I've seen some nice discounts on Monster Hunter World.
And it wouldn't be the first game to eat alot of my time.

Hey there! I haven't gotten the chance to really play much of the demo yet, but from what I can tell it feels very much built upon the style and ideas Capcom did with World.
Very cinematic and story focused with a Westernized feel.
As for the game itself, it looks great, the character creator seemed really in depth, the first experience with the mount system was pretty on rails but I imagine that opens up more. I mostly checked out how the usual weapons I used felt and changed on a practice dummy but hopefully I will get the chance to play a bit more later today and really get a feel of the gameplay.

I tried playing Monster Hunter Worlds and didn't like it at all.
But I always heard great things about it, so I'm sure it's just not for my taste.
However I've seen people saying that the new game is pretty different from the usual ones.

I remember spending more than an hour creating the cat companion, only for it to not show up on multiplayer (which is why I bought it on the first place).
It made me vary mad.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you two and push back a little bit. While I'm also not the one to be afraid of spiders, for those who need this kind of feature, it's definitely something that can make the game more accessible to them. And, the best part of this is that it's hidden away in the settings, and you can easily just not interact with this option at all. Or, even better, you can turn this on for the memes — especially if the mode is funny as hell, like in Lethal Company or Satisfactory. That, or you might do that for the benefit of the viewers if you're a streamer or content creator.

And lastly, it's not really productive to go "Why haven't they also included this kind of accessibility?" Best to raise that concern to the actual developer and contact them directly, especially if you would stand to directly benefit from it yourself.

Otherwise, I don't feel frustrated about the "things getting watered down for the sake of being appealing for everyone", especially here. As I said, it's an optional thing, and you can just ignore this being an option altogether, so saying anything other than "That's cool, but it's not for me" is just wrong. And, in line with that philosophy, you're also welcome to exercise that notion on games that are a little too "catering for everything to be safe and appeal to everyone" and find some experiences that don't include these kinds of accomodations. What you can't deny is that there is a set of people that clearly benefits from this kind of experience being present in gaming, they have clearly not been served basically anything even 10-15 years ago, and that those kinds of people also deserve the benefit of being able to participate in video games.

This. If it's optional, I don't see what the fuss is about.
If the devs said "There's people that are afraid of spiders, so we removed all spider-like creatures" I would be mad, too, but if it's just an option on the settings just don't turn it on.
The more accessibilty features, the better. When I was doing mobile programming course in college my teacher said that accessibility features makes the software better for everyone, not just who depends on it, so you should always try to add it.
I, for example, don't have any hearing and sight problems, but usually turn on audio descriptions and on some games also used some colorblind customization.

With this kind of content you don't want copyright infringement people doing searches for a specific picture to find this place and get trouble started again. Looking for specific scenes is how usenet movies get removed.

But 2D images have copyright too, don't it?
And I think it's very hard from random images from the internet that doesn't even show peoples faces be the cause of something like that. Hahaha
