Morning Slum.
I'll be careful when you're around. I promise. (Starts taking notes on Slums sleep patterns so the dude can hug bonk)
It's the day before the last day of the month. So probably going to be a mix between sitting around doing nothing and dealing with bs before the shit storm that is tomorrow
Hello everyone. Hope all is well with you hoomans!![]()
Our neighborhood will be flooded with little ghosts and witches again. Last year it's been close to a hundred, I guess, all arriving in a few hours after dusk. The amount of sweets we distribute is insane. Halloween must have been invented by some dentists

Same here, not really a tradition, but fueled by ads and global consume culture. But the kids love it. Dressing up and running in hordes from house to house in the thrill of a dark night, collecting sweets they otherwise would never get - what's not to love. It started some years ago, when the whole neighborhood was built from scratch and shortly after babies popped up like mushrooms in autumn rain. All of them went through with this together and all neighbors were involved from the beginning. Now they are all slowly loosing interest from age 16 or so. But the neighborhood got it's reputation and still attracts lots of other kids from all over the town. It's cute actually. But I'll be happy when it's over. Here in France, Halloween was only import a few decades ago for purely commercial reasons, so i tend to agree.
Here the Philippines it depends on the area....mostly to those gated communities.Same here, not really a tradition, but fueled by ads and global consume culture. But the kids love it. I feel that way about most holidays now. The only holidays I look forward to are Thanksgiving and 4th of July in the USA. The rest are greed culture now.Same here, not really a tradition, but fueled by ads and global consume culture. But the kids love it. I don't know that I have met a single Pinoy in my life that didn't have an amazing singing voice. (fuck you allHere the Philippines it depends on the area....mostly to those gated communities.
I remember some private and public schools did it in their campus where kids just trade candies with each other and school even sells some stuff and trow some events.
But true door to door event is Christmas where people get money instead of candies.....I hate caroling.
From old to young sometimes some church group even have a band going around with instruments.
For a song that is so overused I just make sure the all the front lights of the house is off.
I am working on it!I don't know that I have met a single Pinoy in my life that didn't have an amazing singing voice. (fuck you all
