Ah I see, it is definitely a fun series once you get into it, the only downside if when you really get into it and it steals all your free time haha.
If you do ever get a chance, Monster Hunter World would probably be a solid starting point! Or Wilds when it comes out at the end of February!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, when I get around to them, think I've seen some nice discounts on Monster Hunter World.

Good to see you, and I don't know, I know nothing about Monster Hunter, but @kingkyrule seemed quite knowledgeable about the subject.

Hey there! I haven't gotten the chance to really play much of the demo yet, but from what I can tell it feels very much built upon the style and ideas Capcom did with World.
Very cinematic and story focused with a Westernized feel.
As for the game itself, it looks great, the character creator seemed really in depth, the first experience with the mount system was pretty on rails but I imagine that opens up more. I mostly checked out how the usual weapons I used felt and changed on a practice dummy but hopefully I will get the chance to play a bit more later today and really get a feel of the gameplay.

I also thought this was silly. I get not liking spiders but a setting to censor them is wild. lol.

Glad to know that I'm welcomed here already. Haven't heard anything about the game either — didn't even know it existed until recently, and never heard the name before — but I'm quite confident that Monster Hunter enjoyers know what they're enjoying.
