Yeah, Sorry for your loss. Take your, time to sort things out.
And Thank you for all the work so far

thank you Shaddy for sharing your art, nobody draws the female form better, honestly best nipples ever, I mean I'll never get why dudes would ever prefer salami slices over pencil erasers.

A solid and promising first effort Shaddy! You've got four hot daughters, one of whom is already super thirsty (literally!) for daddy, a hot young adult love interest/love triangle hypotenuse/potential beard, a classroom full of smols AND a whole squad of smol cheerleaders! What more could any red-blooded pervert want? :devilish:

I do have some questions on the timeline though (wall of text spoilered):

1) I noticed that assigning the twins the age of 14 caused the MC to ask them if they were ready for their first day of "college". Now I don't know where you're from, but in the US 14 year olds are typically beginning high school (specifically ninth grade or freshman year) not college (which to Americans is more or less interchangeable with "university"). Assigning them the age of 12 causes the MC to ask if they are ready for high school...which is again not accurate. Twelve-year-olds are typically beginning middle school (specifically seventh grade) which was called "junior high" during my long-ago youth, though that varied by location including some "middle schools" that serviced grades 6-8 and "junior highs" that serviced grades 7-9...the US education system was and still is rather a patchwork affair). However, in most places, middle schools and high schools are located on separate campuses; only very small towns would put them together (and that's assuming several small towns don't pool their students into one system), meaning that Chloe and Claire (12/7th grade) and Kat (13/8th grade) would be on one campus while Izzy (14/9th grade) would be on the other. Now, if the twins are 14 and entering ninth grade (freshman year) then Kat is 15 and entering 10th grade (sophomore year) and Izzy is 16 and entering 11th grade (junior year) which to me seems to dovetail nicely with her general level of maturity and responsibility (and since 16 year old girls are generally fully grown they incur little additional medical risk by becoming pregnant. Just saying :devilish: ). This way they are all legitimately on the same campus. If the game does not take place in the US, perhaps some optional info as to their country's educational system (accessed - or ignored - through the main menu) would be helpful to annoying gits like myself who overthink porn VNs. Perhaps also brief biographical data on all the characters would be great in similar side notes.

2) Due to the "college" thing I ended up choosing age 12 for the twins. When Rose is introduced she mentions that the MC and his late wife used to babysit her until 12 years ago when she was 12, which makes her 24 years old in the story (10 years older than Izzy and 12 years older than the twins). I have no idea if choosing the twins to be 18 makes her 30 or not, but what you're saying that in what is presumably the default timeline is that the MC and his wife (who Rose specifically mentions was only his girlfriend at the time) were babysitting Rose while they already had their own children (which is corroborated by Rose saying she remembers them from when they were young. Rose also mentions that the MC used to change her diapers! Just how long was this unmarried couple together and babysitting this girl before and after starting their own family? (Of course I'm aware that people with kids can babysit other people's kids.) It just seems strange to me that the MC and his wife would have been together and babysitting Rose for nine or 10 years before the birth of their first child (14 year old Izzy) unless either they got together at an extremely young age or the MC is older than he seems...

Minor quibbles aside, I'm looking forward to more! :cool:
Yeah I wish age setters would die already, if they are meant to be 12 then make them 12 by default, those that don't like that are not forced to play loli AVNs (or incest, or whatever other kink they hate). I think I set the oldest one that gets fucked first at 15, 13 for the blonde, and 11 for other 2. "College" shouldn't even be in the script at all, there's like 10,.000 other either college-setting AVNs or with LI's in college already. Put them in middle school (grades 6-8) with the oldest a hs freshmen and call it a day, as there's no Patreon to kiss the asses of anyway.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Like why fix something that wasn't broken? Why even have age setters if there's limits put on them (other than obvious negative numbers or similar reasonable ones)? Seriously, wtf? I know how to use Unren but unfortunately I'm not that comfortable/confident enough with Python yet so if someone that is would post a tutorial pointing to what lines of code to change back that would be great (if not I guess I'll figure it out myself eventually). Ideally simply changing the lower limit to 10 instead of 13, I think irrc I had the twins set at 11 too (with Kathy 13, and Isabelle at 14, now it doesn't make sense that the twins and Kathy are the same age) and 10 seems a reasonable lower limit as far as appearances go. I know it seems I'm making a mountain out of a molehill but ages are important for loli-tagged games, and 13yo it not loli anymore but teen/hebe. I could be wrong but this seems like another low-key "forced age-up", only without a bunch of re-rendering.

Let's take it from an "in universe" perspective. Rose's parents moves away 12 years ago and the twins were already born at that stage. Even if they are infants when all of that happens, it would be reasonable for Shaddy to set the limit to 13 to cover that story element without folks arguing which day week or month they moved away.

It's a time frame the story hammers home pretty thoroughly withing the Rose background.

Don't have 0.7 so can't see what all has changed, but ages that you've already set will likely stay that way. And (barring any 0.7 changes I don't know about) this already happened a while ago, in 0.6 or 0.5 or possibly earlier. If anything did change again, it's likely cleaning up a discrepancy I'll mention later.

Looking at my copy of 0.6, zzpatch.rpy has these bits of relevant code
Code:
    def SetAge():
        if persistent.temp_age == "":
            persistent.temp_age = "18"
        if int(persistent.temp_age) < 12:
            persistent.t_age = 12
        elif int(persistent.temp_age) > 18:
            persistent.t_age = 18
        else:
            persistent.t_age = int(persistent.temp_age)
        persistent.temp_age = str(persistent.t_age)
        set_vars()
        return
This gets called when you set the ages from the options menu (rather than during the intro). As you can see, it already sets a minimum of 12 for the age of the twins, and a maximum of 18. The set_vars() at the end calls a bit of code that changes the other ages according to the age of the twins (+1 for Kat, +2 for Izzy).

And this is the bit where you set ages in the intro
Code:
    label age_set:
    $ persistent.t_age = min(max(int(renpy.input("How old are your youngest twin daughters?", default=persistent.t_age, length=2, allow="12345678") or persistent.t_age), 13), 18)
    menu:
        "They will be [t_age] years old. Is this correct?"
        "Yes.":
            pass
        "No.":
            if age_loop == 2:
                "Age must be between 13-18."
            $ age_loop += 1
            jump age_set
    $ set_vars()
There's that discrepancy I mentioned, where here the minimum is (and has been since at least 0.6) 13.

In order to set ages to whatever you want, you can open the console and set the variables for persistent.t_age, persistent.k_age, and persistent.i_age manually (e.g. type persistent.t_age = 11 (or whatever number you like) into the console and press enter, then do the same for Kat/Izzy's variables).

Or you can change the code itself: changing both 12s in
Code:
        if int(persistent.temp_age) < 12:
            persistent.t_age = 12
To whatever number you like.

And in the intro change the 13 in
Code:
    $ persistent.t_age = min(max(int(renpy.input("How old are your youngest twin daughters?", default=persistent.t_age, length=2, allow="12345678") or persistent.t_age), 13), 18)
to whatever number you like (also maybe add a 9 to the allow="12345678" bit if you want to set the age to 9).

The game is awesome
Good luck Shaddy, I hope everything will be fine with you, the main thing is don't burn out

ty for that. Yeah until 0.7 I have never had to restart so never noticed the nerfed age setter until now and you're right that it wasn't this update that changed that or even 0.6. When I first started at 0.1 the ages could be anything. Well, I never really tested that, but it accepted 11 just fine and all saves up until 0.6 worked with that too. Not sure why that was changed unless there's plans for the story not released yet that make anything under 13 not make sense.

Oops. the SetAge() is incorrect. both are supposed to be 13, but yes in 0.01 it was lower. I changed it in .02 or .03 due to story/age discrepancies if lower.

Hoping it goes out to public this week!
The 25th, so in 4 days.

Sex scenes are very short and unfulfilling. There need more dirty talk, more juices... more naughty, more kinky. Right now, they feel more like an afterthought. More like a place holder for a "fade to black" moment.

For example the first scene with rose where you pop her cherry. This needs to be more impactful, more emotions, more back and forth.
