Do you use an online app to create gifs? I have a desktop app, but it is clunky and takes forever. Very tedious, because it isn't really made for that as a primary use. I figured there were better apps that are made for that. I was poking around for a good tool online and wondered if you had a suggestion.

How you doing today man? I know things can get hectic for you when its towards the end of the month like this. Did they ever get a new guy to replace that guy you hated or are you still covering down on his old responsibilities too?

It's ok so far. But next week will be crazy. Especially since we're still over a million away from the projected target for the month. Still no new person for receiving. But the electrical dept has pretty much taken over that area for now. They haven't had much work lately.

Yeah, not sure what I hope to do exactly. Definitely not creating from scratch though. I see gifs that look good, but don't have a quote on them that I'd like to add. I also see the ones Bonk makes that have different heads on them. Mostly, folks here seem to make neat ones and I wanted to try my hand at customizing a few. But I'm an amateur, so was poking around for something that would help me get started. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check them out!

Since we're taking about image creation, is there any program that let you align multiple images automatically by just translating and scaling? I used Photoshop, but I think the options are just translating, or translating, rotating and scaling, which always tries to rotate pictures that are actually the same angle. Or that lets you pick a reference for the alignment, since on some images there are differences and sometimes Photoshop tries to align the thing that actually won't be aligned.
I remember some years ago I wanted to make some GIFs/Videos loops from H Anime scenes I liked that had camera movement, removing it, but I failed most of the time...

Good day guys! I see that some of my favorite folks are online! Only have some minor things to work on today before I get to play around, but plan to lurk most of the day while I do them. Glad to see you!

For base gifs:

or google.
For basic editing:

You must be registered to see links

For adding heads with motion tracking:

You must be registered to see links

(this adds a watermark, you can do stuff to prepare the base beforehand with ezgif and then remove it with the same site afterwards.)

If I want to make a base gif because of source quality issues:
to grab stuff from youtube, you can select the quality.
to cut large videos (movies, shows) down to manageable clips, you can burn in subtitles into the clips.
to make higher quality base gifs than what ezgif usually provides. It's very basic and has some limitations but it can give you a nice file to then edit with ezgif and gifmemes.
