It depends on your kinks. As always.is it worth playing it?
Exactly my thoughts on it. I played it, but not till the end.Personally I got bored with it, but that's mostly because it is a game that wants to be dark which I have no interest in.

Well, that's kind of what I mean. I want to play as not a bad person, but the writing is dragging me by the heels towards the darkness because the story demands that we can't make decisions that don't pull us into the gutter since that would require almost two entirely different games to be made.I played the light/love path which is kinda OK. Still the main problem with this Dev is that he tends to overcomplicate the plot to the point that it becomes a self-contradicting mess of half-digested plot lines. It's the same about all their games. On the other hand I think Seath is very good at writing the characters. They are all memorable and distinctive. I think some of my favorite chars in all AVNs come from his games. And none of his games are even in my top list.

Wrong spam thread. Take the ones over dl preference.I personally go for pixeldrain or google drive
I can sort of understand this, but it has been said somewhere by the dev himself that the antagonist is the same in most/all of his games because they all share the same universe and are somehow connected storywise to one another, it's how the dev wants it and it's not the worst thing I've been faced with in gamesWhat I dropped it for was that it has that same all powerful enemy that's in nearly all this dev's games - and they'd be better off without.
That enemy is way too powerful and also seems to know everything. Luckily in the sequel to The Guardian he's know longer around. Unfortunately, there's a new one that seems about as powerful and knows everything.I can sort of understand this, but it has been said somewhere by the dev himself that the antagonist is the same in most/all of his games because they all share the same universe and are somehow connected storywise to one another, it's how the dev wants it and it's not the worst thing I've been faced with in games

Yeah, that pretty much all-knowing and all-powerful enemy is a bad part. The thing about BlackHeart, is that all the games are tied together and there are a lot of plot lines to remember and keep straight in your head. It has some great adult scenes but there can be a lot of dialog to get through between those scenes. I personally enjoy a lot of Blackheart's games and I have played almost all of them but I am not terribly interested in the over arching plot lines of the mysterious Father and Mother characters.
