I've only ever seen the movie, never read any of the magazines.

Have you ever read the Taarna the last Taarakian comic? It was alright if you like the character. I didn't mind the Heavy Metal 2000 movie, I didn't think it was great or anything, but I like those mature animated films in general.

I've read the Conan books and some of the comics, mature animated action not comedy is hard to come by nowadays, closest I can think was Primal.

The Savage Tales and Savage Sword Conan comics are pretty good. I found a few boxes of comics yard saling. It had a few 80's Creepshow comics, some 50's Tales from the Crypt stuff, and a bunch of 80's and 90's Marvel comics, along with Conan. I'd never read the comics prior to that, and ended up finding more later. I mostly just experienced the movies, and always wanted that Old Conan movie that Arnold wanted to do after he supposedly founds his own Kingdom.

Hmmm not a bad choice. My main issue with those two games was always having time to commit to them. Hate not having time for games like that then coming back to all my stuff destroyed by people with more time then me.

Probably a grand strategy game, seeing the amount of hours I poured into EU4.

King Conan is a what could have been, the way movies are nowadays I wouldn't trust it, cough 2011 Conan movie cough.

That movie had the potential to be decent, but they fucked it up... I do like Jason Mamoa, all things considered. That movie was just so boring. Like In the Name of the King, I remember watching it and thinking -Why the fuck is this movie so boring?- even the fight scenes were shit. Decked ass cast, but then again Uwe Boll, so I don't know why I expected better.

I prefer more a grounded movie with practical effects like in another 2011 film Ironclad. If this had the budget it did, but was instead a Mini-series it would've been pretty damn good.
