I enjoyed steven overall. Just wish they were not forced to condense their plans and shove it all into that final season. UG on the other hand felt like a drug trip. Sometimes in a good way. Often in a bad way for me.

SU had some nice things in S1, especially with Ronaldo foreshadowing everything in the later seasons.
And Cartoon Network wasn't fair with Steven, with long hiatus, bombs that didn't let the audience breath between episodes, and full on leaks of full episodes

Yah the theory is execs kept leaking the episodes on purpose to crash the ratings. So they could justify canceling it. But man I would have watched 5 more seasons. And 3 more movies. And still wanted more. Hell I would take a reboot where they start over. A continuation of the orginal. A continuation of future. Another time skip mini series. Or even a spin off of Lars doing crazy space pirate stuff.

Both symbiotic Titan & green lantern were canceled because both boys and girls liked them. And they don't believe girls are allowed to like super hero shows. Can't have 2 groups like the same show. Messes with toy and merch sales.

Reading Blackest Night was so fun but DC being DC ,hated having to read all the side comics that until later you realize didn't impact the story at all.

It's a complete pain in the ass. New 52 and Rebirth, a bunch if other things. It got hard to follow, all the alternate universes, Marvel was the same way once other artists and authors started doing their own versions, it made figuring out what is actually Canon sort of obnoxious.

Spoiler: Personal Opinion.

One of my biggest peeves in DC was mid-2000's introducing Damian Wayne and pretty much negating Beyond in the Main Universe with the Endless Possibilities stuff, since it took place in the Future. I personally loved Batman Beyond and Terry was excellent, Hush Beyond is one of my favorite comics in the last 15 or so years.
