Here is really hot these days, yesterday at night was hot, and today the fan is doing its work.
Could not backread there, lot of people around, and in the pool I like to swim, so not possible.
Its been a while since I've been in the pool, lets see who hot is going to be this spring.

I find that sometimes, leaving a long format media, like a movie or a yt video, on with some headphones helps with falling asleep.

Yeah, sometimes I listen to ASMR to help sleep, some triggers help me a lot.

As for dubs. In my experience English movies dub into Japanese are very annoying. I will rather watch subtitles but even subs are not the best because some of the movie scene details are missed when trying to read the meaning.

Some of them are. Maybe the traditional ones, but from recently years, I would recommend a few, like Slithers (2006) (how 2006 is recently?) that people recommended for me in this thread. Terror with Comedy I liked The Blackening (2022).

Did you ever watch King of the Hill.

I never knew there is a dub version. Not that I watch it either, but Simpsons have a dub and in anime or cartoons i find dub usually works. Just not movie dubs

The debate comes down to do you want to read subtitles or not, and whats your cultural acceptance toward East or any other region from your point of view. To say one or another is better is one's personal opinion but not absolute fact because ever-ones different from one another

I grow up with dubs for everything. Sometimes I want to watch something in the original language, sometimes I want to enjoy more the media, so dubs it is. I can see and pay more attention to the screen when I don't need to read the subtitles.

But, I also want to share the worst dub I heard of. I saw a video of different dubs of a movie (don't remember which one), and the Russian was just the voice overlap! They didn't even remove the original language!

It's a flashback to one of the Japanese band members walking around in NYC. This is how they dubbed this black guy in both the original and in english.
