When we got the internet in '96.. we didn't have YouTube. And my poor Netscape web browser probably couldn't have handled it even had it been around then. Everything was slow with dial-up. :ROFLMAO:
I still miss Netscape Navigator still, Firefox is the closest thing to that.

I remember my main dial up was prodigy internet, then msn internet, then compunet, whoever had the cheapest per month!
also I still remember my icq number 7480294 and my password was "me" sadly they forced everyone to change passwords and I didn't have access to that email anymore so I lost it

I remember AOL instant messenger, but then I found ICQ, and went with that. Then chatrooms and yahoo voice chats.. oh man, those were the days. Who didn't love going into a yahoo voice chat room, and then piss off people by holding the button down for the mic so only you could talk. :ROFLMAO:
Oh boy, nostalgia drop!

Never used AIM, did used ICQ and MSN Messenger. MS/Comic Chat and IRC, Yahoo Chat was a ton of fun! I would go to the Singing lobbies or play Pool online against people. I remember people used Booters that would flood you until you got knocked offline. I had a rural ass internet, that wasn't big name, had a second-hand PC that was actually really good at the time, but the Modem was still 28.8k, so we bought a 56k modem, felt like a major upgrade. We got two phonelines so we wouldn't get interrupted, and we had 2 accounts, so we were able to sign into both late at night and double the speed.

That's back in Evil surgeon's day, when they used to walk to school for 10 miles, in 8 feet of snow, with no shoes.
You forgot "uphill both ways"

I also discovered Roms and people translating them. Played my first Pokemon games, because I never owned a Gameboy until GBA. Well, besides Snap and Stadium, because I was only allowed to play the N64, while my older brothers could play the PS1 and PS2. They didn't want me to fuck the discs up.

I played stuff at School, like Carmen Sandiego or Sim City. When I got a PC, it was basically Mist, Laura Bow, and whatever point and click adventure games my Dad could find, most of them were like 10-20 bucks each, really cheap. First OS at home was 98, then 98SE, most of my friends or classmates didn't have a PC for years, so I was basically the nerd.

Quick edit. Oregon Trail, also. That game fucked with me.

Well, it's that time again....time to blast off

Apparently some people who get these cluster headaches bad have found that shrooms are the only thing that sort of works.
Confirmed that it worked for me.
I never put 2 + 2 together until I saw the Vice news thing about it.
I stopped getting those headaches as frequently at age 19. Same year I did shrooms a few times with friends.
Now I do them periodically just because they're fun. Have only had a couple since then. Usually onset from dehydration or flashing lights.

Would recommend @TheDude14
Helps to have good friend and something you enjoy to go with the shrooming
You need to be happy when you trip IMO

I'm not a fan of boba unless the "bubbles" are flavored

 coconut, but perhaps enough sugar could make up for that
"Imagine coconut milk but with the jelly-like textures of a square booger"
Not sure sugar can fix that.

Yeah, it's very common for me to try putting catchup in something, nothing coming out, then squeezing harder and now everything is drenched in it... 😡
And the photo does have a dipping sauce, but we usually only dip in our home or in restaurants. When having food on the streets and/or cafeterias or other quick bites, there's usually just the bottle for you to use, not the sauce in the cup for dipping, because of the rotation of customers.
I did this today on a hot dog bun, ended up scraping the majority of it off into the garbage.
Luckily I had relish and good hot dogs.
I like my women like I like my coffee. With milk on it. 🤤
Black and I'll add the cream.
I don't know if someone answered, but Chatterbox, the dev, apparently died some years ago 😕
There is someone who took over the patreon.
They started it back up and did a small update or two, then said they didn't have the time or motivation to finish it right now.
Enough to get the patreon back up and running, though. ($$$)
Cream filled, you say? 🥵
I'm not Bavarian, but I'll cream your long john.

One of the great things about the world is the variety of tastes. Citrus Cherry sounds like cough syrup to me.
a woman is sitting on a couch and saying i have tasted my own medicine and it is bitter
It was just Mountain Dew with cherry flavoring. The citrus was the Mountain Dew.
Didn't taste like cough syrup, though. Has a nice crisp flavor.
I get those, though for some reason they have been few and far between for the past three years or so. I am NOT complaining.
a man in a suit and tie is making a funny face while sitting at a table with his eyes closed .

One person I knew suggested magnesium lysinate glycinate, and I have taken that on and off, not sure it's the reason, but might could help.
I saw that was good for sleep, too. Maybe that's part of it?

(WTF is wrong with the site tonight. It took 5+ minutes and a refresh to send this message. It is lagging badly!:poop:)
I got the cloudfare warning a couple times, too.
DDOS by the Philippines' users I'd bet.

I have English Closed Captions on it, and the Japanese singing parts just say [music]

We were fancy.. had two lines. One for the home, and one for the internet. :p
My brother and I paid for the second line because we used it so much.
Mom paid for dial-up and we paid for the line.

If you have an invisible fence, they make a little buzzer unit that makes the collar buzz or zap.
You could put one of those on the top of it.

Windows 95 was amazing back in the day!
I couldn't figure out how to remove the desktop wallpaper I accidentally set while looking up porn
Mom saw it and made me call Microsoft help line on speakerphone with here standing behind me.
She made me tell the M$ guy what I did as an act of attrition.
Also, when first came out, he slowed our computer to a snail pace.

I had to buy my first flatscreen in 2010.
40" Samsung flat screen with a red border.
Just in time for the Packers' Super Bowl win!!
(suck it @Evil Surgeon [I still haven't gotten a chance to mock your O-line after Sunday night])

I went through most of the OS' as they came out, like ME/Millennium Edition and such. Once they started going back to the NT based one, that they seem to still use at Hospitals and stuff. I was probably 10-12 when I learned to format and reinstall everything, learned MS-DOS, then I by the time I was 13-14 people relied on me to fix whatever was messing up their PC.

That went on until I went to College and most of their problems were because they went to too many porn sites.

I've been building or upgrading stuff myself since I was a kid. Less the last few years, but whenever I need something there's stuff like pc part picker, and I can check compatibility and prices, which is really convenient.

Quick edit, I also had a bunch of those Windows Demo Discs, that had Age of Empires 2 and stuff one them, usually only got to play one map. It did force me to buy the game, at least.
