Overview:
Your rough childhood is over, and you stand on the precipice of adulthood with a singular goal in mind: To become an exceptional restaurateur like your grandfather. But for now, you'll settle for building a modest cafe.
Money is tight, and challenges abound balancing your dream with your final year of school, but with hard work and determination you know that you can build a life for yourself and the girls you meet along the way.

In Cosy Cafe you will develop romantic and increasingly sexual relationships with a number of girls, culminating in a harem that eventually becomes a family. There will be a particular focus on wholesome maledom, and of course, there will be a lot of loving and kinky sex!

The update contains an additional 33,000 words, 2125 renders, and 84 videos, covering September 29th (Saturday) and 30th (Sunday). This one covers the weekend goth event, and contains a lot of sexy scenes, as well as some important character progression. Plus, this is the first outing of the improved graphics/animation, so I'm hoping you enjoy it!

Most of the new UI features I mentioned a little while ago made it in, however the day select screen was too riddled with bugs to get it sorted in time, so you won't see that until next time.

Warning: Someone had the bug "ATL appears to be in an infinite loop". Fortunately it doesn't appear to be common, and I'll work on getting a fix out, but in the meantime if you do get this, you can fix it by going into the scripts file and deleting "01fileslots.rpy" and "01fileslots.rpyc".

Fixed issue where animations would sometimes flash up a bright screen at the start of loading each video
Fixed issue where top left UI would always display day 1 dawn in replays - it now says "REPLAY"
Changed dawn screen to show the month/date instead of the old day number
Moved Annabelle into the main section of the character bios and added tabs for her in the galleries
Minor grammatical improvements to a few hundred lines from 0.9 content onwards
Fixed a bug where the gallery images for Lucy and Vicky from 0.1 appeared after the more recent images.

v0.12 (23 May 2025)
The update contains an additional 31,000 words, 2250 renders, and 44 videos, covering days 27 (Thursday) and 28 (Friday). This one mostly focuses on character progression with the love interests, and has some really great scenes!

Beyond that, the update contains a few minor tweaks and improvements, including the new day/month system I mentioned in a dev log a while ago. Basically, what was Day 1 before, is now September 1st now, and then it begins counting from there. As part of this change, I've also added the ability to hide the date/time display at the top of the screen if you want.

The save problem:
I have good news and bad news about saves: The bad news is that saves from 0.11 will probably be broken again. The initial implementation of the new UI was the problem, so unfortunately I can;t fix it retroactively. The good news is that the problem should now be fixed, so hopefully this is the last you hear of it!

To get to the new content, just start a new game and select the option to "Start at the latest update (Day 27)" - that way even without a save, you shouldn't have to replay anything you don't want to.

0.11 (15 Dec 2024)
The update contains an additional 25,000 words, 1420 renders, and 69 videos, covering day 26 (Wednesday). It will cover some nice fun/sexy slice of life content, as well as some significant character progression and revelations with a few of the girls.

WARNING: This update will probably break saves - unfortunately it's a consequence of the new renpy engine version. If you start a new game though, you'll be given the option to skip right to the latest content.

This update also contains the new UI (for PC and Mac), so expect a few bugs here and there! I've done my best to test everything, so I don't think any of them should get in the way of you enjoying the actual content, but I've already discovered one at the last moment, and there may be more:
Currently the new photo gallery requires you to restart the game to see the photos you've unlocked.

There's a pretty wide variety of tits in this game, so I'd find it difficult to take anyone seriously who says the game is "killed".

There are currently five primary LIs (major characters) in active relationships of some sort with the MC. Two have tiny tits:

I really enjoyed this so far! Its a slow burning plot with a decent bit of lewd once it gets going. The conversations were well done for a VN I felt, and the English was real English. A few small typos towards the end, but they were more like homonyms than misunderstandings of the language.

Each girl has their own personalities and all react differently, which is refreshing. And yes, there are a variety of body types to choose from, its not all DD+.

The larger plot around the scheming etc is a bit trite, but I give it props for setting up some decent worldbuilding and preparing for a larger story outside of "nekopara but with human women".

I'll be keeping an eye on this one. version 6.1 took around 6 hours to get through, actually reading and digesting the story and scenes.

This game was on my mind off and on all day. It really does fit its title, it felt so cozy!

Any other suggestions of games with a (mostly) wholesome premise, an MC that works with all his girls to help them through insecurities, to make them strong and confident women who in turn treat him well and get along with each other? Wide variety of body types/ personalities is a plus.

It somewhat makes me think of another great game - Eternum - though that one definitely has much more conspiracy wrapped up in it.

This is easily one of my favorite games that I've come across in the last year. The animation is good, the character models are absolutely gorgeous, and there is something for everyone as far as the LIs goes. The only potential drawback is that it's a kinetic novel rather than a standard visual novel, so it more or less just tells the story it wants to tell and brings you along for the ride without much care for your choices.

Incredibly enjoyable experience, highly recommend to download for anyone who hasn't played it yet.

Fully agree on this, this is hands down my current most anticipated game (that hasn't been going for years) that I'm just waiting on the next release.
I'm so curious where things are going to go with the MC and the "Family" drama.
The character interactions between the MC and LIs are all fairly open with each other and even when there is some drama between the MC and LI it doesn't last very long and isn't overly drawn out, which is very fresh as a lot of games tend to keep the Drama going for a while with neither party basically willing to talk about it.

The recent update and how the MC handles Akatsuki's side of thing to me is good overall. He gives her a few days to come clean, she doesn't so instead of just keep waiting or causing some other drama, he goes to see her so she can explain herself and the situation. Which he understand the sitaution and perspective then gives her options and then its done. No over the top drama and the MC was more concerned/missing of her then angry and even the eventual "punishments" that are indicated are as much a pleasure/fun thing as they are a punishment for the LI's

So far the kinetic I think has helped more than hindered as it keeps flowing at a more decent pace and at least so far none of the LI's would be a potential turn away anyways for me.

The characters are all really beautiful and like Kaeng_Nai said the animation and mostly everything is good. However I'm a bit startin to be scared since they are more and more character. So I feel like that the time between each update might grow more and the time it will take for some character to get new scene might start to be really long. But other than that there isn't really any down side. It's a great game

This game ist one of my favourite games so far. I love the variety of the characktes, each one of them feels special and well thought throu. I specialy like Sarah. The speed of the Story is nice its not too slow and not too rushed and makes me want to know more about each charecters and their development. To be onest its one of the games where i never skipped anything coz its so interesting and fun to see everything and i wouldnt wand to miss anything by skipping.

This one is one of my favorite, all the LIs are interesting in their own way, and bring some kinda "damage" that brings them together with the MC.
The MC isn't too dominating, and with most of the girls he gives them an option too say no too stuff.

I agree, the dev has something special going on with this game. He doesn't need to muddle the water with choices. Kinetic when the game is good is never a negative.
Choices and additional routes can be a great addition, but this game doesn't need it.
