4-6 gb is fine although anything pushing 7 is unlikely for me to get, also it depends on the game and its engine, of course unreal engine games will be much much more in filesize compared to unity/renpy/rpgm, it also depends on the completion, if its completed and its 4-5 gb then its worth getting

Honestly, the lack of disk space was never a limitation for me.

anything above 5 gigs, I won't bother downloading. If the game insanely good, I might.

No limit. i have good space on my SSDs. i just delete some old games as it fills up

Maybe 5 gig for a VN type game. Any larger just means the author has no idea how image compression works.

I don't generally make decisions based on game size. But if a RenPy game is over 15GB, it'd better deliver the appropriate amount of content for it.

im usually capping out at 10 i usually dont like the games all that much and they jump in size so i never end up downloading them again

Depending on how complete it is, around 8GB is an acceptable range.
Personally, I don't like it being divided more than having a large capacity.

I prefer porn game to be 5GB or under tho if it's a game I'm really interested in of course I'll download it even if it's bigger for regular games I have no size lint has I have decent amount of space dedicated just for games

I just wish all developers learned to save image files using the correct formats and not as PNGs when they are scene renderings. There is so much incompetence.

storage itself isnt an issue, but the download restrictions imposed by some sites are pain

I mean disk space it's limited so do you have a max size when downloading one of these games, i myself try to stay under 5 gigs, but if a game looks really good or i'm already invested i'm willong to go up to 20

I would download something up to 90gb if I have a lot of info that shows it is good, and then just remove the bloat that I don't like. But I would have to be totally sold on the download being worth it.

It is easy to add visuals and things to games. It is more annoying to download content that is useless or unwanted.
