My favorite type of cliche would be the "dodge quicktime events", I find it funny when you don't press the button and there's a scene of your character failing, specially the ones in Spiderman: Web of shadows, most of the failing quick time events are funny 💀

Nah the quickTime event where you have to smash the button but nothing happens until you do is better. Just wait an hour with your character holding the enemy and waiting to punch is fucking hilarious.

Mine is when I use the Steam Refund page.
2nd would be those moments when it's revealed you are the god-chosen / born / awakened etc. - corny af but I love it

The standard amnesia at the beginning of the game so the biggest badass in the world starts the game at 1st level.

Health regeneration. Like avoiding the fight for 5 seconds will magically heal you. I suck, so I pretty much need this.

I could never pass that up back in the day. And I never got very far either. I wasted a lot of quarters.

The amount of quarters I spent on this.... only to never make it past like... level 4...

Apparently cops don't exist in the games I play because all the shit I do in the outside world of the game I never get caught

When you blow up half the city and people casually keep going on their business or forget about what happened in the next 5mins.

The scripted cutscene that plays depicting you struggling as you barely hold on, no matter how the actual fight went.

As a guy, the heavier armor is the best
As a girl, the less you wear, better is the armor.
I've seen memes about it, but didnt actually notice this in games. Can someone name any games?

For exemples (and very popular among corean mmrpg)

Traumatic memories that often lead the MC into some type of mystery solving to find closure or not.

The moment where everything is about to enter the utmost of catastrophes before the absolute clutchest possible missile/longshot/strongly worded plea saves the day to a heavy orchestral crescendo.
