Who is your pick for best girl?​

Should mention that I am not further along than in the middle of the Dorm Wars, after the 2nd reset but before the 3rd reset. So there's a lot of story that I haven't seen yet, I picked the game up again after letting it be for more than two years. No spoilers pls

Watabe is my spirit animal and I love her, but she is too much of a side char to be best girl. I actually can't pick one best girl, I feel to much empathy and/or sympathy for most of them. I might have said this before, but it's the vulnerability that gets me. And I think it's Selebus intent to portray vulnerability in general in this game - everyone has it if one peels away enough layers.

Maya, her contempt is obviously well warranted, but we don't know the whole story yet, and the thing with Noriko leaves big questionmarks. Makoto in Blujay was very heavy, but not sure where her story will go now. Sana is beautifully frail on the surface, but beneath that perhaps not? But really, pretty much all the Floor One girls, so far. And Chinami of course. The rest of the girls I have not seen enough of yet to feel for. Well, Kaori maybe.

The only one I have a borderline antipathy for is Kirin, for her abuse of Ayane. But pretty sure that she will also show herself vulnerable at some point, but if that will be enough for a redemption arc or not I don't know yet.

Question since you and @Slumdum both here. Do norwegians really sound like they are singing?

Yes to the rest of us Scandinavians they do. I saw someone online try to make a comparision for English speakers, that Norwegian sounds (to us) a bit like when someone is speaking English with a strong Hindi accent.

Just finished Beastars. Doing a rewatch of Farscape. You watch anything good?​

It wasn't directed to me, but I'll answer anyways: Kengan Ashura!
I usually don't like CGI anime, but I really liked this one. The CGI comolements the fights very well!
The season that came out some days ago is the last season, so the anime is complete, so I'll have to wait and see if the sequel manga with other characters will also be adapted.
Trivia: How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? takes place in the same universe. Hahaha

No worries I won't spoil anything Friendburger. I'm about a year behind from the current version because I like to download all updates to my games once a year and then just play them throughout that time.

No I get it, real talk she not my best girl either, but when I came on this site they said no smols for pfp's, and I her introduction scene was literally the only picture I had saved on my computer and I thought it would be fitting for a place like this. Especially since at the time I was still in lurker mindset dreading having to grind social interactions to get back to the games so " I want(ed) to fucking die". I think you nailed it on the head what he's going for and why I love the game so much.

I'm dying to find out more about what the Noriko and Maya story! Chinami is best 5000 year old wizard I have ever met. Sana is my tie for best girl along side Miku, I just love everything about those two and can't wait to unravel what the fuck happened in their past. First Floor Superiority! Kaori cracks me up every time she pops up

I kind of liked that he included that, don't get me wrong those scenes are totally fucked up, but it's not like Sensei hasn't done some fucked up shit. I think she will be able to pull off a redemption arc. The one I am scared of Ami

It's a punch-filled shonen, but the fights are based on actual techniques (it's all exaggerated and there is some supernatural things here and there, but still one of the most "realistic" I've seen)
But I understands if you don't like this type of anime.
I wanted to watch Dumbbell, but my wife doesn't like comedies and nowadays I don't watch much alone. Hahaha
What's your favorite genres?

Yeah I don't know if I ever interacted with Mono but I enjoyed his posts, but SafetyDummy and I talked a lot. Hope they both come back soon
