  • Donation Rewards & Vault Credit System Update
A new important update has been posted covering the Donation Rewards bug, the reset of incorrect Donation and Platinum credits, the upcoming reclaim system for previous tracked donations, and the new Vault freeze/maintenance behavior. The goal is to remove bug-generated credits, protect real donation history, and rebuild the system in a cleaner and safer way going forward. - Jack Of Blades

Most of the time I ask for recommendations, despite them being good they are very repetitive and generally end up being the more popular games. What are some newer games that you think arent recommended enough and deserve to be known. For me Academyt: Live! despite being in earlier development is setting up for a really good game if progressed correctly.

Games with Japanese (or stylized Japanese) graphics I can not recommend you, I hate it. And I don't know your tastes and preferences.
If we are talking about games with European-style graphics, I will name two projects. These are Club Detention and High School Days.

Club detention is also a game I have been following the progression of, very excited to see how it progresses

paradise lust has a sequel being developed, i'm still playing the first one but i'm enjoying it a lot. It's a bit grindy but if you don't like it you can skip the puzzles.

Camp Klondike and Sinful Summer. Both games have really good buildups kinda like Light of my Life.

Paradise Lust has an in progress sequel.

Club Detention suffers from "wants to be everything at once"-itis. The dude (MC) can't make up his mind if he pitches or catches. Its a trainer but also a mystery but also a sandbox but also... etc. Reminds me of Deviant Anomalies. The game isn't bad but I'm predicting burn-out.

That was my problem with it. Starts with a pretty good The Headmaster-style setup, but it's also pretty clear the dev intends the main character to get dominated a lot (think there's something on the F_95 page to the effect of "I made him look shrimpy and effeminate because the femdom scenes didn't look right otherwise"). Which, hey, you do you, but then you're simultaneously trying to appeal to people who want the opposite by putting him in a fairly dominance-coded position.

Golden Mean, everything in the game is very well done, the renders are great, the characters are very hot, and the interface is very intuitive.

Another one very good but with a female protagonist is Steps of Debauchery, all the compliments I gave to the other game also apply for this one

as far as new releases go I've only been hooked by Fantasy Quest, hopefully it doesn't go to shit before it has a chance to get somewhere good

Sorry for a non answer.
I think the reason most people don't recommend newer games is many of them are so new and have so little content it's hard to judge them let alone know if they will stick around.
There will be exceptions however, mostly long time devs who have moved onto a new game as then people have other material to judge upon. Unfortunately that is a small number of games when compared to the whole.

Just gave both of them a look and they both have the ugly character problem that plagued light of my life except i find both of them worse looking.

Life in Santa County - never seems to come up in discussions on top games but the renders are excellent and loads of good content so far

I am like an earlier poster that doesn't try new games until they are far into development. Between long updates and abandonment, I feel it is a waste of time. I do like these threads, cause I'll bookmark a few to watch.

recently I have been more into watching them instead, bc most of the new games I have enjoyed end up abandoned

Some newer games that don't get enough attention might include titles like Pentiment (a narrative-driven mystery with beautiful art), Dredge (a unique blend of fishing and horror), and Venba (a narrative cooking game with cultural themes). These games offer unique experiences but often fly under the radar compared to bigger releases.

Dredge is good stuff AND both Dan Bull & The Stupendium did YouTube music videos for it.

Lustful Dreams and Our Bright Days.

The art in LD is cute and is a sweet B/S story. OBD is another B/S story with great art and a story that promises to have consequences.

Apartment 69 is another good one that never gets mentioned.

All 3 have infrequent updates, sadly.

Secrets and Promises it's a new game and very promising imo
