lol yeah, I actually agree, they did behave like kids. I would have make them more like Vikings. Battle hardened and scars and looks like killer's, but the ones in LTR looked more like kid size furry toys in human forms. Its a shame they couldn't been more like battle warriors. Elves, I would say, were also too fairy like. Means, I like their looks and their armor but they also needed to be more hard looks, or at least some. I personally like the idea of warriors to look hard ass and badass rather than pretty and perfect. Not just Elf and Dwarf, but all warriors, especially the ones who been in battles a lot. They have that look in their faces of people who seen atrocities. LTR warriors, even the enemies, missing these features. Just the fine details makes a difference. At least its how I feel. What do they expect to happen when a bunch of retarded midgets fight battle-harden 400 year-old warrior monks anyway?
That's what the Dwarf vs Elf war really is: children vs adults.
I wonder why they left. It was and is really good movie. I think there is Ring 2 but I will need to look it up.I watched the Ring in theater 5-6 times. The last few times was just as entertaining to see people jump and freak out during the jump-scares and scary parts.
Lots of people actually left the theater. Times have changed, but the Ring was the first of that type of horror (for US at least)
well, we dont have hearts and certain organs so it dont matter anyhow. They just take up too much room and are useless anyhow. Only week humans will have need for hearts and organs. Our fetish is more on the blood side and we give the meat suits to our spawn to play round with.If they remove them after you're dead, it won't really matter though.
Also, like someone said earlier: the organ meat is the most nutritious!
Surely that counts with vampires as well?
haha no. Not Pingu.. I seen both American and Japanese versions and I like them all, so, the Japanese is the best, but still its all good movies and shows different style. Worth to watch for sure.At first I read Ringu as Pingu. Hahaha

The Ring and The Grudge I had opportunities to watch as a kid, but since I was a kid, I was very scared to do so. Hahaha
Never watched the american or original versions, I'm still kinda scared, the ones I watched are usually because my wife likes them.
But I've watched the Scary Movie, which has parodies of them, do that count?![]()
Definitely not for kids to watch lol. I think most kids would be too scared.
I seen bit of scary movie and I didnt like it. I thought it was just stupid and pointless but its not the style of horror I usually will watch.
Yeah, i understand this concept and I know other people who also belief similar to this way, then others will just argue about the afterlife and so on, which is why religion is such a touchy subject. i respect other people belief and feel that if I don't agree there is no need to make argument for this, but at the end of the day, we do know we are born, we do what we do and then the rest after dead is actually unknown. I was invite to go to this Church few week back. I went, thought about it then decide no thanks. I rather sit by a lily pond and do what I do there than some religious institute I don't belong lolIn a sense I'm kinda nihilistic. I think life was just some kind of subsequent accidental events. We don't have any purpouse, nor we'll go to somewhere after here, but that doesn't mean that life itself is meaningless, you have to give the meaning to it, doing things that you like and pursuing some dream. "It's the journey that matters, not the destination" kinda thing.
After I'm done here, I don't want to be buried or kept somewhere for people to mourn for me. Just keep me in memories, get the organs that are still useful (that I don't think there'll be many. Hahaha) and burn the rest, and throw it somewhere, I don't know.
I seen Dark Water. That was good movie. Never seen the others, and as for foreign movies. I watch some but I am not keen on Rob Zombie movies. They was strange and just not really my style. I don't like gore much and i am not sure about snuff. I should look at them bit more to understand this Genre so I can't comment about this style. I should look up some Swedish and Spain Horror. Also, Turkey make a couple decent horror and there is one I will need look up its name. It supposed to be very scary.Thank you for the recommendations. It's a quite time I don't watch horror movies. Regarding Japanese ones, I remember watching "Dark Water" (仄暗い水の底から) and the infamous gore series of Guinea Pig. The second one was even investigated by the FBI suspecting it was a real snuff movie! True horror lovers my know it: "Flower of Flesh and Blood" (仄暗い水の底から). Not for the weak!
I think the last horror movies I watched were the first "Train to Busan" and "The Platform". The first was ok for a zombie movie, the second one I didn't like it. Interesting setting, but too simple metaphor.
If you want to open your views to other country horror films try: "House of 1000 Corpses" and the sequel "The Devil's Rejects", from Rob Zombie. I didn't watch the 3rd one, so I don't know if it's good, "Let the Right In" (the Swedish one, not the shitty remake), "Martyrs" the French one (again why the fuck they do all those shitting remakes!) or "Thesis" (a very good Spanish movie about Snuff films).
