Don't forget about The Ring, that movie created school!
I also like a lot Hideo Nakata. he directed Ringu and a bunch other movies. His works are also masterpieces and he is also very well respect within Japanese horror movie would. You must watch some movies from Takashi Shimizu His work is also amazing, especially in the making of Ju-On, or the Grudge. The west versions of Ringu and Grudge are just not the same but still are good, but Japan still makes some of best horror and crime movies in the world, where as Hollywood have lost the plot, obsessed with fantasy and CGI just to make fast cash.
I just watched the Ring movie with my GF today and I first seen it many year ago but I had forgot just about everything. I still think it is great. It was the USA version, but it seems bit different to the Japanese version. Both are certainly wonderful, just like The Grudge and Ju-On. Not many horror movies will match these master arts pieces. Some will but not a lot that I see. They are still in top 10 world greatest Horror category, which is wonderful achievement. if you guys didn't see these movie then you missing out on really good movies. IMO
At first I read Ringu as Pingu. Hahaha

The Ring and The Grudge I had opportunities to watch as a kid, but since I was a kid, I was very scared to do so. Hahaha
Never watched the american or original versions, I'm still kinda scared, the ones I watched are usually because my wife likes them.
But I've watched the Scary Movie, which has parodies of them, do that count?
Hi all ; ) Have a nice day
Hello! Are you new here? Quickly, tell me two typical dishes from your country, one that you likes and one that is weird.
@algeo how do i change my border color? Like you have the purple one, or guz the red one. i can't for the live of me find that setting,
You have to enter CSS coding, apparently. There seem to be guides out there, but I don't know how to do it and haven't had time to figure it out. Someone might be able to direct you to a good tutorial.
Personally, I'd like to be able to figure out how to do something that looks like a stack of alternating silver and gold coins surrounding and appearing to be in motion going around the edge. But that might be a bit more advanced than a single colored line that flashes a bit. Just don't know.
Thanks for the help. I managed to make something with chatgpt since i don't know shit about css myself
I would say exactly this. Just ask ChatGPT and he'll give you something. Hahaha
If you see someone with a cool effect, I think you can also inspect element on your browser (on computer, at least) and see the css attributes, so you can copy the things you like.
There must be hundreds of different beliefs, but I notice most seem to suggest there is afterlife. we are not purely born to just be dead, but are being prepared for another existance. I like this consept because otherwise what is the point? I am not huge into religion or philosophy. I just see things that seems to make sense to my understanding and let everyone else believe their own theories. Religion and politics is a very dangerous areas to talk about. I believe our body dies and everything rot to the dust but the spirit goes to better place. Other than this, it gets to debates and then confusion and then fights. Simplest of ideas can be the most practical IMO.
Although the idea of my heart or organs removed by someone seems not inviting. I don't plan to be a mummy person so, best it all gets berried or burned with me after I'm dead lol
In a sense I'm kinda nihilistic. I think life was just some kind of subsequent accidental events. We don't have any purpouse, nor we'll go to somewhere after here, but that doesn't mean that life itself is meaningless, you have to give the meaning to it, doing things that you like and pursuing some dream. "It's the journey that matters, not the destination" kinda thing.
After I'm done here, I don't want to be buried or kept somewhere for people to mourn for me. Just keep me in memories, get the organs that are still useful (that I don't think there'll be many. Hahaha) and burn the rest, and throw it somewhere, I don't know.
because rain is the best weather, so comfy

I wouldn't agree with you when if I still lived in a house on a dirt road. It was awful going out in the rain, stepping on mud all the time...
I LOVE "Robot Chicken"! The best thing to come out of it was "Bitch Pudding"!
I liked it, too! It was my favorite thing on Cartoon Network late night schedule. Hahaha
I thought they were OK films but I haven't read any of the books. They definitely don't have the same tone, gravitas or writing style as the LOTR movies though, they're more like summer fantasy action flicks than epic fantasy. The 3rd one kind of overdid the battle CGI too, there's a point where it stops feeling like a real battle and feels like a choreographed movie. I could probably drone for a long time about why the original LOTR movies manage to pull off the battles feeling like real battles with stakes, definitely actually using real extras in costumes on real sets helps. A good strategy in the LOTR movies too was having a bunch of minor characters that had enough screentime for the audience to care about them being involved, like the boy that travels to (IIRC) Helm's Deep with his family and gets conscripted to help defend it. I don't remember any characters from the 3rd Hobbit movie other than the lead characters.
I don't remember what I didn't like, but I remember not liking it. Forcing Legolas and that other elf girl was one of the things, but I was remember that I was annoyed that they extended the story a lot for it to be 3 movies, and yet they also cut lots of plot points...
Deep fried ice cream sounds so wrong until you try it and realize it's so right
Sounds wrong? There's very few foods that deep frying doesn't sound right!
You sure that's ice cream and not just cream?
The time for the outside batter to fry up and get crispy in nowhere near enough for the ice crem to melt, so you just get a regular ice cream scoop with a delicious shell!
