Rape does not exist if:
- girl herself asks for this several times.
- girl does not resist.
- girl doesn't try to run away
- she doesn't try to call for help
- she doesn't go to the police
- she enjoys it, takes the initiative and _herself_ wants it to continue.
If you played the game and didn’t just come in to chat, you could clearly see that Olivia never tried to stop everything when she had every opportunity. Instead, she wanted to continue.

Have you played the game? Have you seen this scene in the game? Many of your questions and doubts would disappear by themselves.
Many people who talk about rape have never seen the scene themselves and draw conclusions based on rumors.
By the way, in the game, at the moment the choice "forced" appears, Olivia is not at all against sex, and there are 2 other choices through Lust and Pure. And there is absolutely no logic not to choose Forced if you play through the dark path, because in the future it will definitely be reflected not in your favor if you pass and choose lust/pure (most likely the dark path will be screwed up). So, no need to be shy and see the invisible, feel free to choose Forced and enjoy the best sex-scene in the game (for now).

Regarding forcing. Some people are cowardly by nature, and when an important moment in their life comes, they get scared and give up. If they don't have an experienced "mentor" nearby to "push" them forward, they can self-block, which will cause serious problems in the future and an unhappy life.

I think something else that factors into Olivia's thinking is she already seen you beat the shit out of her sister and you have complete control over their lives they have no money left to flee means shes probably terrified of you. Normally during these type of scenes I don't like when a character starts to enjoy it part way through, I think it works in this game though because no matter what she loved the MC so it makes sense she's confused, I think her sucking her thumb, thinking she's getting sick and wished he'd stop so she could process it and crying after where all signs that even if part of her enjoyed some of it she wasn't consenting.

They have enough money left by their mother, and they have many other choices. If they wanted to, they would have moved out long ago.
She's just inexperienced and doesn't know what to think. Partly, this is the game developer's fault, where he allowed contradictory lines. In one place, she "sort of" wants MC to stop, and then she wants him to continue as long as possible. In any case, if she didn't want sex, it wouldn't have happened. MC didn't hold her, didn't tie her up, didn't beat her. She did everything he told her of her own free will. At least as it is shown in the game.

I think the money thing just goes to show how stupid/naive they are, I'll agree the lines of dialogue she says could have been tweaked for that scene or had her thinking if I just do what he says it'll be over faster, I'm just gonna have to agree to disagree with the last part that's the good thing about these games is people can interpret what happened the way they want.

If there were no other options (pure, lust) in the place where the forced option is chosen, then it would look more like rape. And if Liv did not play along, but actively resisted, and after sex went to the police (game over or not) - even more so.
That's why I wrote that _technically_ it is not rape, because Liv's behavior is almost no different from her behavior in other routes. And she is the initiator of the relationship, not the MC (on dark path, he turned her down and insulted many times, but she still climbed into his pants).

Although I wouldn't go supporting them as they're kinda milkers. They already earn enough to make sustainable 3-4 month update cycles yet they end up making barely any progress.
May change my view on it if the game keeps getting more consistent updates but still won't forget how the game was left hanging for about 7+ months with no updates. Then update dropping with not enough content to justify such a long time.
I cannot however dispute that the renders are beautiful and the story is engaging. Devs are clearly talented and do a good job. Just a consistency is needed. Consistency makes for trustworthy devs. Trustworthy devs earn triple of what you can usually make.

From what is known there's only one developer, although he has another guy doing the art.
He probably requested to remove the Patreon link, earlier this year when it got suspended/removed and then miraculously reinstated, as a strategy to avoid problems again.
