Yeah i opened this thread and was confused what the hell is going on. So many conversations, so many replies. Its like a chat, without being a chat.

Same I usually try to read one or two pages without context, say good morning or good night, like a few posts and then i go back into actual lurk mode.

What first with English subs and then, with Japanese subs. That helps a lot. Because you already know the story and then your brain is forced to watch it only in Japanese. I learned English in that way, just watching movies with English subs. The only problem is hard to find pirated anime with subs in Japanese :_(

I agree. I guess I didn't know what to expect, so I wasn't let down. I did think there was a bit too much open nothing, but I'd played No Mans Sky already so I was used to it. I do want to see what the expansion does for the overall enjoyment.

They aren't out yet? I'll admit to not having gone looking for them after I stopped playing. That seems like something that needs to be addressed.

Yep last i checked wasn't much of anything other than texture replacements and what not.

Its still on my "to play" list. But my backlog is like huge. Only gonna play it if its really good or amazing. Maybe gonna give it a shot

never played it on launch played through the base game a few years after but before dlc's got released and the story did not impress. people seem to have enjoyed the dlc or dlc's (i forgot which) But i do not have any desire to replay that game for them. maybe once dementia hits me and i will have forgotten about it

Enjoying a story is subjective I guess. For me personally it's up there with my favorite games especially after the dlc. But if you didn't enjoy the main game going back for the dlc probably isn't worth it.
