Does anyone else have a porn movie they watched long ago that they've spent years trying to find?
I've got a couple. The main one is a porn movie from the 80s, maybe late 70s. Was the first porn I ever saw. Remember the plot roughly, a brother, sister, and her husband (no incest) are traveling in an RV. I did hear about the Rio De Janeiro Carnival. This is the one I remember see on the tourist shows here. They explain many many people are in the streets just have lot of fun and there are also people who hand make their costumes and such and it is supposed to be a huge family event, so, seems good fun. I actually only know very very small bit abo0ut Brazil. Almost nothing really, only that the Amazon Forest is there and something about many people want to help protect the virgin forest and the cool creatures lives there as well as some tribes of Amazon, but the South America lands interest me, so, maybe one day can visit some countries. I love different country food so I will enjoy this lol.

Like my fellow brazillian said, we have a holiday for the dead, but it's not really a "party". Some people buy some flower, go to the cemetery and that's it. The aesthetic of the Día de Muertos is really cool, I would like to participate in one some day.
Carnaval has that big one, with the allegoric cars, complex costumes and such that is done profissionaly, but there are smaller ones all across the city that usually it's just people with simple costumes, lot's of alcohol and flirting (probably more, but I'll end it here. Hahaha), so I wouldn't say its a family event...
Japan and Brazil actually has a agreement, I think neither one needs vista and such for travelling to the other, so just buying the planes tickets is enough.
Since Brazil is so big, there are various different biomes. Aside from the Amazon Rainforest, there is Pantanal, Caatinga, Cerrado... All with different landscapes and animals!

yes, this true. Guess it is this way. Same when I lived before in Australia, the Natives Aboriginal have huge problems with the western settlers but I like to think one day the balance will be restore somehow.
I also notice it seems Brazil is one of safest South America countries but yes, I am aware about theft and crime. I did see documentary about how poor some areas are and how these people live are very hard and so they need to do something to survive. Even here, some business try to over charge foreigner for things, so, this is common for tourist in many countries. But i probably will not go to Brazil or even any place outside Japan because it cost a lot of money, but never know. it is place I certainly feel seems nice, or I should say, mostly nice. Most people most likely will ask if I am from China lol. I had this in some other foreign country before but its ok, they don't know.
Im glad the government and businesses stopped or slow down the killing of the forest but I did see on documentary that illegal gold mining and such still happens in the Amazon and there are still some problems but actually this is same in many country I feel.
I understand this. Many country have similar things and so, even Spanish countries talk different to mainland Spain. Even USA and UK, so this is normal. Pert of Japan have also some native who talk in strange kinds of Japanese so we have some similar things here.

Sadly, I don't know a lot about this part of history of Japan and Romanji. I didn't study it hardly at all, but I did realise something about big trade with foreigners some time before the WW1 and 2, then Japan closed its doors to outside world until 1945. Interesting fun fact.. or maybe not so fun.. There is now growing nationalism to try to reduce tourists and foreigners in Japan because recent years there is too many dirty and selfish tourists who spoil all the best place and don't respect Japanese rules. i feel Japan likes tourism but on other hand is getting tired of the bad behavior, so big changes are soon to take place it seems. Its a shame some idiot spoil everything else for the rest of decent people. I even seen trash and junk in one of the worlds most beautiful parks. Not just once but a few times. This was after some asholes tourists just was too lazy to pick up their junk. It happens apparently a lot. Also they invade private streets with signs ask tourists not to go because of private reasons. Those dumb youtubers are often jerks. hmmmmm not good for everyone else who are cool. A few spoil the mood for all.
Yes, i been to 3rd word country once and so i understand this. Man, you and wife will love Japan and I can give you list of most beautiful places to visit. Crime is very very low and you and her can walk Tokyo street in night and no one will harm you ever. People still welcome tourists in many part of Japan but there are places where they are not so fussy about foreigners. Not racist but just maybe more traditional. Its hard to explain but my are not likely to visit those smaller villages and towns hard to get to.

yeah, IMO don't waste time with Japanese dialect because it can confuse you, unless there is decent reason to learn. I advice to learn standard Japanese that everyone will understand. Some word spoken in some local places and remote islands are not really easy to pronounce, especially for non Japanese so you may have some trouble get anyone to understand but I think it is nice at least you try to learn. Every day Japanese is not always easy so if you are learner just start with most common lessons like ask the time, or where the shops are and greetings ect.. I feel these basic lessons will also help a lot to get better.

That made me remember that a lot of words I learned from my grandparents aren't even used anymore, instead they use the english words for that.

Regarding the reaction cooldown, is it actually 3 minutes? I only ask because the dialogue box that comes up if you do attempt to react too fast if the time limitation applies says to wait at least 160 seconds. With 60 seconds to a minute, 3 minutes would equate to 180 seconds. Or at least it did when I went to school. You know, back in the days of slate tablets, chalk and abaci.
Not really too worried about it, just asking for clarity's sake.

Every day Japanese is not always easy so if you are learner just start with most common lessons like ask the time, or where the shops are and greetings ect.. I feel these basic lessons will also help a lot to get better.

I'm just a little after the basics, but not much further. I'm close to reach the 1000 kanji and 2000-3000 words. But still the grammar is pretty hard, and to understand the real meaning of a sentence it's not an easy task unless, of course, is broken Japanese like the one in the text books for foreigners. Regarding the variations and the other languages in Japan, yeah, it's far beyond my current goal, but it interested me just to know the language plurality of the country being myself a speaker of a not so large language.

Lot os similar things, and only in last couple years or so been get worst. I'm happy I live not in tourist place but locals here are very older generation and old traditional families and they don't like what is happening, so, even Japanese people are get tired of those foreign Youtubers who have big loud talk and rude manners. To be clear, I know most are ok, just those few are the ones create huge problems. The biggest problem is Japan is one of the top tourist attractions in the world these days, and so, the trash are also visiting.

Japan is the #10 in the top of the international tourism. Wherever there is tourism, you will have bad tourism, it's inevitable. My point is if the media magnifies these kind of news just for the sake to create polemic. The country where I live right now has tons of bad quality tourism, and it's a big problem for the people who lives in areas with high tourism density. But like tourism is part of the economy of the country, media doesn't focus on it.
