What August 4th update? Are you talking about the post explaining the icons for the replay gallery? Those have been in the game, Ric0h was just explaining what they mean. They're not new content. I believe they were added with the current release at the beginning of June. Before, the Replay gallery just had the 'locked' icon only, and didn't specify what type of scene it was. Now the icon give you a clue as to whether it's a regular scene, a dark path, or a bad end to help give you a clue how to search for it in game.

Any characters that were aged up (apart from April) is purely by accident due to my base G8F being borked.
(Oh, and Holly being taller, but that was because she was too thin for the MC's dick and the sex scene looked really bad with her smaller frame)

I thought I wasn't seeing things when she no longer really looked like the age I set (12 irrc) earlier. Lolis that are too small to fuck = just have the MC lick her like a melting ice cream cone until she paints his face until she's a little older in the story. Realistically I'd guess most would prefer that anyway rather than get impaled on a dick 1/4 of the size of them.

Aged up April and added her scenes to Day7
Added day jumps to the paths menu (can now be used as a custom start feature)
Added a choice to come off Amber’s path on Day6 (clothes store with Holly)
Custom names can now have a space in them
The splash screen can now be skipped on first pass
Tweaked the Replay menu on PC/Mac (there are now 4 columns instead of 3)
Update the Replays for new scenes

I made a $2.50 sub tier and needed to edit the post to add the new tier to it (so they could view it).

You have to "edit" a post on Substar to add new sub tiers to it.

When I release 0.9 I will have to "edit" the post multiple times to add new tiers to it (to give them view access)
So I'll make a post and set it so only the Mega tier can view it, then 2 days later I'll have to "edit" it to add the Elite tier to it, (and then again for the other tiers when it's time for them to view it).

Each time I "edit" it, it will say "updated on X day". That's just me adding new tiers to the view access for it.

One of the downsides of SS, aside from new devs getting stuck in review limbo forever. They really need to get a bunch of awkward crap like that fixed. They are probably making literally a million dollars a month, dunno why they can't seem afford that.

Yes, I'm aware that 0.8.7a has been out since June.
I was hoping it would be a minor update, like adding a gallery or fixing some images.

I think it's a new "feature" as I do not recall it doing that when I previously edited posts.
I've also noticed that you cannot click the date/time stamps on pinned posts (or any posts) now to "open" them up to write a comment.

As I just went to Ketzals SS and I can click the date/time to open a posts.

Alternately, people can now get the direct link for a post from the upper-right kabob menu (this is an addition of UX/UI friction, which is usually a signal that the front-end designer is intentionally trying to discourage the behavior they're making take more effort):

It's just a dark mode plugin in my browser. I have shit eyes, and just cannot read websites with white backgrounds.
