There aren't many choices out there, but I can sit on my sofa and use the mouse from anywhere I like since I only have to move the ball and not the entire mouse. It's also more accurate than using the "pad" on the laptop.

Pretty much a streamer but instead of a using facecam or mic only, they opted to use avatars (most cases anime style). That way they can either play a character, or keep their anonymity while the audience practically has something to attach the voice to.

Well this was all fanart of course. But yeah, many Vtubers have a very... voluptuous physique, and many even have different outfits for their avatars. Most of them have Bikini versions or something similar which they they happened to "accidentally" switch to once during streams. But yeah some embrace the horniness, some are more shy about it.
Meanwhile shylily, despite her name, is not shy about that sort of stuff

Well, it is still kinda consensual, at least as consensual as it can be. Surely out there someone made an rapey or guro-y toddler/loli game, which would be a looooot worse...

Outside the US a lot of countries will award attorney's fees to the winner which dampens this somewhat, but that never actually recoups all the costs of a trial. In the US there are anti-SLAPP statutes in some states that try to end court processes quickly and shift fees to the defendant in cases where the lawsuit is dismissed and was unlikely to succeed, but only if if the purpose of bringing it was a bad faith to prevent the defendant from exercising their normal rights rather than the plaintiff believing they had a case, which is both limited in scope and not usually easy to prove.

This still happens, the recent news of Disney trying to argue that their Terms of Use for buying D+ or a park ticket are binding on a wrongful death claim is their usual spaghetti->wall method of litigation that is just intended to exhaust the opponent into submission.

It's not just attorney fees, lots of times people have to give a lot of their time to continue with the action, sometimes having to cancel appointments, lose work times if they are self employed or whatever, which wouldn't be "reimbursed" even if the case was won.
Here in Brazil, sometimes if you miss the hearing time, even if you're clearly on the "winning" side, you lose the case and have to also pay a fine to the government for "wasting their time". And let's not forget the classic case of Sony suing emulator, losing each time, but making them bankrupt because they couldn't sell their product during the lawsuit.

I didn't read the whole conversation, so I don't even know what was the discussion, but it do seems that most of the times it's the big companies that benefit from it, the small business or regular persons just hack to suck it up and that's it.
