For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward.
I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward.

I've grew up rural enough to have some experience raising livestock for food. Taking an animal from the stage of growing it all the way to serving it on a plate just makes moral conversations about animals hit differently. I think too many people buying meat in the store don't really understand where it comes from. They know, but they don't really comprehend.
That is quite true. Modern western society has been too easy and convenient making more and more silly generations. This also helped by parents refusing to raise or teach their children how the world works even on a basic and minor lvl. If memory serves some people think vegetables come not from the earth but from stores. oh and i mentioned it earlier today on this thread but there are people who think chocolate milk comes from brown cows. Humans are quite a fascinatingly retarded specie. at least the- i mean we got holes for me to fuck
I'm curious about something. How many people do you think you have scared away? Cause I noticed that the 2 new people you greeted sure as hell didn't respond again afterwards.
I'mma keep going, but not doing 100+ pages in a day again that was too much. Today I'll try @bonk 's suggestion of the muti-tab and alternate between the old and new. We'll see how that goes
I think my average was about 50 on a good day, BUT that was with quoting and responding WITH a 7K deficit of back-reading.
Just don't wear yourself out- although learning the history of these folks was kinda educational and entertaining, ngl.
It was either on a board, or a friend of mine (I forget the source by now):
"Runaways? Are you FUCKING kidding me? The supervillains... don't want to kill their kids! It's not about kids trying to survive their parents' attacks. It's kids trying to kill the parents... parents that won't fight back! One of them put a fucking GUN to his father's face! And the dad just TALKED!!
And the rest of them? Fucking hell. I've got a FOURTEEN year old at home! If I want to see kids bitching about their parents, I can just go home and listen to that shit FOR FREE!!!"
I cannot neither add to nor take away from this.
I will say it was a departure from the Runaways comics and a LOT of the the actors did NOT fit their roles or characters. They really should've rebranded it as something else.
It's Jack Russel - not JJJs son - and Elsa and Man-thing. Nobody else really.
Though there is the Live Action Moonknight TV Show as well, which is good.
I know Isaacs is back to voice Moonkight in Season 3 of "What if?" which shows he isn't done with Marvel. By all reports he enjoyed making Moonkight and would be down for more. Here's hoping we get Midnight Suns at some point.
Well, shit... THIS is as bad for being called out for bad Klingon by Algeo.
I knew "wolf"- it was "Man-Wolf" JJJ's kid (and StarGod), (when they just put "man" in front of any noun to make a new super-hero).
Marvel writer 1: I have a great idea for a hero who's half toaster, but there's already a "Toasterman"... Damnit.
Marvel writer 2: Call him "Man-Toaster"
Marvel writer 1: Brilliant.
I have yet to see "Moon Knight", it's DL'd, just not watched... 3.8K movies, TV shows, music, in total and rising.
I'd like to see another iteration of "Ghost Rider"- I did like the one on "Agents of Shield" (even though that show got muddy at times), that was a bad ass car!
I never did actually! Was always on my list of things to watch. But I always got distracted when stuff wasn't linked properly to the MCU. Never saw Legion either, but that's definitely on my list of things to watch.
I use a lot of the characters in Marvel Snap though, does that count?
I would say save "Runaways" until you've exhausted everything else in the world to watch. Even paint drying.
"Cloak and Dagger" was, imho, a bad idea/IP for a live-action anything. It was slow to get started, but it did pick up right before it ended and the girl who gave the "Marie Laveau Tours" was friggin adorable!
Oh, Shit. I completely forgot about "Helstrom" that was actually pretty decent- I just think it failed because the masses are too stupid for anything "spookier" than BTVS. (Although, how GREAT was "Hush"?)
Side Note: "Constantine" (from DC) was done really well, but failed for the same reason I think "Helstrom" did...
Not familiar with "Marvel Snap".
Hair always has a "difficult stage" I find. With head hair, it's growing it past your ears, then you're okay, then its growing it past your neck, and then you're okay again. Facial hair it's growing it past stubble, past the itchy phase, then you're okay again. Our moustaches over the lips, that is never fine for me and always goes.
That said, I doubt you can grow facial hair right? haha
OMG! Yeah, moustache over the lip has got to go. THAT is annoying. IF you're going to eat a "fur-burger" you want it to be an actual "fur-burger" (or a "Big Montana" from Arby's).
Yup, that's me. I love watching people biff it. I will help them up and see if they're okay, provided I can stop laughing first (it IS rare, but it's happened).
Oh, okay. I wasn't sure... It just seemed like one giant ad saying, you've seen the demo- NOW pay for the whole app or pay to unlock the shit you saw in the trailer.
If not, enjoy just watching her sit in a corner in your lonely apartment you sad loser.
It truly is. It's either a re-make, a re-hash, or re-ality. There's no originality in anything any more. Sad.
I just saw that there are YT channels dedicated to "reacting" to the shit we watched growing up... Are you fucking kidding me?! This passes for entertainment. YOUR TV is so bad- you'll watch OURS and critique and people will PAY to watch you do it? FML People just have this over-inflated sense of self-purpose and I just don't get it.
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I am sick of Vader being in everything.
I want something new, that's why I was hopeful for Acolyte. An entirely new timeline apart from all the Skywalkers.
I have to say I kinda agree with this- even in the comics. We get it Lord Vader IS a bad ass. I think the biggest problem with Star Wars is that "There's always 2 rule". Wouldn't it be nice to see more than one Sith Apprentice/Sith Lord at the same time?
The cartoons kinda tried with Darth Maul, Asajj Ventress, and Savage Oppress...but there are so many other great ones in the Expanded Universe. I'd love to see the Jedi Council (of Masters) go up against Vader, Maul, Ventress, Revan, Krayt, Nihilus, Tyranus, Talon, JarJar, and Bane. A REAL fight. TRUE Master. As cool as it is for lore building and mythology- the "Rule of 2" really limited the potential of Star Wars.
Darth Maul really got the shaft (both figuratively and literally) HERE was a bad-ass Sith who could've been used for more than 1 movie. He was so wasted... They did kinda bring him back in the comics with a weird Robo/Spider body, but it just wasn't the same.
Also, also what was the deal with those "laser gates" in Episode 1? The fuck were they for even? AND why couldn't Qui-gonn and Obi-Wan just force dash through them when they were open like when they hauled ass from the Droideka?
Who is to say that they won't do that? They've remade so many animated movies in live action, they probably will eventually.
I don't know how old you are, but when Princess and the Frog came out, there was 'controversy' about having a black Disney princess and also how she wasn't black enough.
Plus, the movie was set in New Orleans. The city was still cleaning up from Katrina and I remember someone (radio or TV host) saying it was a ploy to attract more audience.
Humans change stories all the time to fit with the current view and times. The first mermaid stories are from the middle east.
The 1989 movie was changed from the original Hans Christian Anderson story, too.
You should look up the original story synopsis if you haven't before. She gets rejected by the prince and he marries a princess from another country. She then has a choice to kill him to regrow her tail, but refuses because she loves him and jumps in the sea, leading to her death.
"Humans change stories all the time to fit with the current view and times."
Uh, The Bible?
ANY Historical Battle Victory EVER. History is written by the winners.
Nobody wants to celebrate or have festivals commemorating the time they were slaughtered, conquered, enslaved, or eradicated.
They'll celebrate their Heroes from those losses, but not the defeat itself (Joan of Arc, Boudikka, Napoleon, Robert E. Lee, etc.,.)
Quick History Lesson
HOW did the South actually lose the Civil War?
When the Confederates would throw dynamite at the Union soldiers- they'd light it and throw it back.
On the plus side- it did mean that there would be no sequels. It is it's own encapsulated story. It helped to drive the plot for movies that, well, we knew what happened 20 years ago, but still no sequels. Silver linings?
IT has potential IF it's done right. The DC (DTV) cartoons used to be so much better than the Marvel ones. That "War World" one or whatever was so BAD- the people doing the V/O sounded bored recording it. IT was just flat and uninteresting.
Just like Marvel makes far better movies than DC (with a few exceptions).
Kinda like Kubrick torturing Shelley Duvall in "The Shining"? I want you to "act" like you're terrified, like you're having a nervous breakdown, like your hair is falling out... (Overrated flick if you ask me, but not a fan of King's to begin with, tbth.)
So, you're not even gonna try a tasty chocolate chip cookie smeared with a lil Kerry Gold?
Look at it like this. What is butter? It's chopped ham, no it's chopped steak...ooops wrong commercial.
It's made from churned milk- don't you enjoy a cookie with your milk?
(Also, how great is that stupid little ditty?)

There is a cavalier attitude towards animals. I've got no inclination towards veganism or vegetarianism for several ideological and whatnot reasons but I also distinctly do not hunt, despite living in region for it, and despite not opposing hunting in principle, because I cannot bring myself to do it. I got into fights as a kid stopping folks form pouring salt on slugs.
Awareness, or lack there of, is partly why bad practices spread; no one knows about where the food comes from and so bad behavior in those producing it becomes common.

Ok Ok, so there MAY have been some accusations of assault and battery, sexual assaults,
organizing war and protests, a "rumored" sex tape and other criminal acts.....
You must be registered to see attachments
None of these are factual. That's my story and i'm sticking to it !!
Something I wondered, if having sex with food is a fetish, then having sex with cooked meat is a fetish.
But what about raw meat? How far back in the food production process does it become socially unacceptable? Like a corpse is a definite no, but leather clothing is and cooked meats is an allowed fetish. So where exactly is the line that it becomes unacceptable? Is porking a pork chop allowed?
And questions like this are why I avoid getting drunk with others.

Idk about her sitting in the corner, but the dev also has an english trailer which says that the game recognizes walls by itself for the "stuck in the wall" scene which i find kind of funny bcs i didn't know about that until couple hours ago
