A little advice that helped me tremendously. Open 2 tabs, one for the frontline the other where you're backreading.
Stay on the frontline !! When it gets slow or every few minutes go chip away a little of the backread. Otherwise you'll
always be behind. There was a time for about 2-3 weeks where i got home and had 40-70 pages to read to get caught
up. After 6 or so hours i would finally reach the frontline then have to go to sleep. Rinse and repeat. Hope you give this
a try, if you do message me and let me know how it's working for ya - Bonky ❤️

Take care my coon in the platoon, Bonky ❤️'s ya

Based on all the reactions I was seeing, I thought we might have a new (or returned?) backreader.

Thanks for your efforts @anon670-1!

And since it may not have been said recently:

Thank you to ALL backreaders! May your flips always come up as you call them!

I, for one, would love to see @Slumdum butter up @-Bonk-

Oh, good: looks like they used Kerry Gold - that's quality butter. Of course, it's the normal salted, so that might sting a little.

When I saw the tub I was worried @-Bonk- was going to be violated by an inferior product.

My first PC (my family's) was an AST with a 250MB Hard Drive, 16 MB RAM, 4x CD-ROM, 3.5" floppy disk drive,Pentium II processor, with a 14.4 kb/s modem.
It cost about $2,200. $2,500 after the loan was paid off.
I bet it was really good in those days. It always amaze me how tech change and something worth so much become just useless after some time. Some old pc are collectors. My uncle have an old Apple pc with green screen that I don't know how old. Maybe 1980s or something and it only have a floppy drive and couple games. I don't know what they used in those days for CPU but I think those old one are so cool. Probably belongs museum now. Over here now the pc is change so much a lot don't have IED cables or CD drive. They use SATA cable and USB so its interest how much everything changed. Even the HDD are now consider old and not used unless in older pc. Huge changes. Not to mention software.
Well, when you figure it out. Let me know.
I do recall some of your earliest posts back in that 7K thread. You've come a LONG way since then. ;)
She's done some great movies- you really should check out "Black Snake Moan". The soundtrack is bluesy, but amazing!
I will look for Black Snake Moan. Sounds interesting.
A hammer or a neodymium magnet will do the trick. :p
I used to disassemble them for the little horseshoe magnets- they were pretty powerful lil things.
yep magnet will kill them but someone once told me even with magnet cops can sometimes get data but maybe he is not correct. Well, I just open and smash platters. They never can recover after this. Either way is fine IMO
True, but you have to have somethings that mean a lot to you. It IS just stuff, but it's your stuff.
Well, you seem to have have turned out okay.
YOU ended up here too, don't forget.
Yep, for sure somethings are important to us all.
Im fine. Jut antisocial vampire.
How can I forget? I am here? lol. Its pretty fine here and I notice you like to chat away, which is also nice
Well, I don't mind if you insult me- it's technically telling the truth... A very sad, sad, sad truth.

You can be my friend- I won't tell anybody how sweet AND evil you are... :p

I'm glad you could understand it- it's been *cough* years since anybody has had to do that stuff...

You're kidding right? There was no such thing as a "Gig" back in the day.
My first computer was a 486DX/66 (MHz processor) with 16M of Ram and a 540M HD with a 9.6K modem. A "Gig" she says...that was almost 10 years later.
There was no "Plug-and-play" and no "USB". You had serial mice and keyboards. AND modems for the internet.
:ROFLMAO:
yes but maybe I am just dumb kid to you. Depends your age compared to mine. Plus i always learn from older people and also I do like those old tech stuff. it is cool. My relative have an old old Apple pc with only floppy drive and green screen lol, so this is something people here just see and go "Wow!" Whats that? I never seen this pc before... I have no idea its spec. Just old and I wasn't even born those days lol
Actually 16M? Is this 16 megabyte? for ram? Man.... That is old, so I am right... Jurassic park pc. How old are you? 100? Ok, so I am mean now for sure. I dont know but I think seems this pc you mention is 1990s? No idea lol. Ok I will go hide now... lol But actually I think USB was out also in 1990s. Well, I don't know this times pc and sadly we are not teach about them, which I feel is sad because it is part of tech history and is cool to know something. What is serial mouse? I did hear about modem and i seen few around in the past. Not for long time but thrift stores used to sometime have one or two for some reason.

You cannot watch them suffer IF you end their suffering... ;)
This is correct sooo??? mmmm Ima stop there before I scare some members lol

Ngl, that's a pretty beefy kid- he just took about 25-30lbs of 2X4 blocks to the face and is still standing? :ROFLMAO:
My hesitation is all part of my plan to lull you into a false sense of security. Of course, I'm gonna have to lobotomize you now that I've told you part of my plan. But just know that I lobotomize you because I love you! (also because I hope you forget about those newfound juggling skills)
BUT will they remember that you love them AFTER the lobotomy? :p
I did, thank you. I'm enjoying my long sleeps. :giggle:
Then I shall live vicariously through you- I get about 4-5 hours on a good day. :ROFLMAO:
I always used the same pockets for the same stuff, so I knew them by heart. :p
I always kept adding shit to my pockets- damn near needed 2 belts to keep them up. :ROFLMAO:
Which is ironic since Disney apparently elf sabotated their movie that had an openly LGBT main character and also canceled that other movie that went to another studio and won an oscar or something like that. Hahaha
They are only "queer-friendly" when they do think it will be profitable, like many other companies do. There's a reason pink money is adopted in many businesses.
Look at the Eternals. IT might have been a successful strategy had they not done it with such a dog-shit, awful movie. :ROFLMAO:

Happy Monday all. Hope yo made it through today.❤️
Any other other series I would say read it first. But I can't stand how Tolkien writes,so my vote goes the the extended trilogy on this one.

Tokien's my favorite but I can understand not liking some of the prose (I do like Tom Bombadil as well:)) but love Tolkien for creating such a lush world with 480,000 words. Comparing him to Sanderson who's my favorite today
The Way of Kings1001383,389
Words of Radiance1080399,431
Oathbringer1233451,912
Rhythm of War1232455,891
I feel that Tolkien was able to create a much more memorable world and characters with less, but that's modern Epic Fantasy where they think more is better.

So guys, i found a pretty neat android game thats using augmented reality (not vr), which could maybe be added to the games list on here

(supports english language)

Quite a few clothing options to unlock and even sex scenes in AR (you can pretend she is giving you a hand or on top of you...) and a photo shoot mode

I guess it uses AR core by google. So if your phone is supported, you could give it a try, it worked pretty well in my test.

Here is a trailer

In case this post doesn't belong here, maybe a mod can move it to the appropriate location (still fairly new to this site after all)

Edit: added the trailer directly to the post

Once I download the extended trilogy and was ready to watch it, but them I got lazy, and never went back to it...
I do want to watch it someday, or since I never watched it, you think it would be nice to read it with that "first time" mind? Without knowing anything? I have a Kindle, so I could put it to a good use.

If you don't want to know the way the stories actually unfold, then don't read the books - the movies, while well done, leave out some essential chapters and change the relationships and actions for "dramatic effect". Just did a reread after nearly 40 years and am now a little bit down on the movies. Some of the stuff wasn't as bad as The Hobbit movies (characters and story lines from whole cloth), but Tolkien is definitely worth the read if you want to experience the fantasy series that has been the inspiration for so many of the series that have followed. Some of it is a bit goofy, but the folks that tend to not like his writing are those that don't like deep descriptive writing, but only want things to go straight to a point. I like to paint an image of the surroundings of the books I read in my head - Tolkien's writing allows you to do that.

EDIT: Of course, be aware that Tolkien was writing the books more than 80 years ago (published about 70 years ago), when some words retained their original meanings. So, don't get offended if he talks about a gay atmosphere or throwing a couple of faggots on the fire.

I accept the movies as their own unique thing, just glad they are actually good, excluding The Hobbit movies which I hated. The one thing I can understand is if people don't like The Silmarillion and how it's written like a mythological history but I love the stories in it almost as much ❤️. Even like reading just the list of the Kings of Númenor names:).

Also, I did use two different mime faces, notice it changes when I dive at you.
HOW do you get the faces to change and go back? I futzed with for 2 hours yesterday and couldn't get it to work.
Even doing it frame-by-frame...once I swapped the image and hit play- it was either/or.
Any tips?
Wow Fred Durst really let himself go. Guess he really did everything he could for the nookie
Don't you mean the "Cookie"? Nookie burns calories. :ROFLMAO:

I can sense your sarcasm... "good in those days..." :ROFLMAO:
His old computer might be worth something IF it still works. People pay a lot of money for legacy tech. Does it have the 5 1/4" floppy disk drive?
Well, the software industry drives the hardware industry- that's why you have to buy all new stuff every 4-7 years...plus you have "manufactured obsolescence". Which is another sneaky thing they do to you...
I will look for Black Snake Moan. Sounds interesting.
I forgot to tell you it has Samuel L. Jackson in to too.... So, y'know, it can't be THAT bad. (Yes, I even thought "The Spirit was okay-ish.)
yep magnet will kill them but someone once told me even with magnet cops can sometimes get data but maybe he is not correct. Well, I just open and smash platters. They never can recover after this. Either way is fine IMO

My favorite story.💜
I generally describe reading The Silmarillion as similar to reading the Bible, particularly Leviticus and Deuteronomy in some parts, but it is also put together much in the same way. This is all due to the work of Christopher, cobbling and editing together his father's notes, short stories, etc., into a comprehensive "History of Arda". I read it a "story at a time" and rarely more than 45 minutes in any one sitting as it could be very difficult in places.

I haven't been able to get to the other books that came from the stories in The Sil, but they are on the "some day" list.

If you don't want to know the way the stories actually unfold, then don't read the books - the movies, while well done, leave out some essential chapters and change the relationships and actions for "dramatic effect". When I first started getting into reading. I basically read what my mom was into. True crime Stephen King things like that. So I read the LOTR books when I was around 13 since she had them. I enjoyed them. I stopped reading for years. But over the past 4 to 5 years I've started back up branched out and started reading my own things. I really enjoy Frank Herbert and his son Brian ( Dune ) Steve Alten ( the meg ) and Dan Brown ( The Da Vinci Code ) that's just to name a few.

I also recommend Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete if you're like magical girls, but with a little twist. :p
THIS sounds interesting and just WHERE would one find it, for *ahem* research purposes, clearly... ;)
WHICH of the 3 versions is the best?
Is this cat very horny?
giphy.webp
A whole new meaning to "Grab 'em by the pussy"? :ROFLMAO:
I use Tom. The problem is that in real life we use nicknames to tell the apart. On my college we also had 5 guys of the same name, and each of them were called a different thing. In games, they all just use what you write, so if it coincides witch what tell call a character, you can't know who is who. 😢
If there isn't a default name, the dev should have an option to change names on the fly or at least warn you when there's already a character with that name...
Thomas is between the top-10 more common names in the USA, maybe you should find another one. For some time I used uncommon Irish/Scottish names, that have a cool sonority and they have a low chance to be used in a game.
Athol, Balloch, Calan, Caolan, Cathal, Daithi, Lachlan, Nevin, Niall, Uilleam, Ultan

If you pick a non English speaker name, the chances are even much lower.
No offense to anyone who suffers from this, BUT how thick do you have to be that 2 people having the same name in a game confuses you that much? :ROFLMAO:
