well if all you attach is head, it doesnt require much time, unless you are attaching 20 heads
thats photoshop file. where you got all the layers and shit.
but if you want to make it properly it takes time, cant be rushing much cause usually any fixes takes just more time.

I'm gonna have to disagree with that. The problem to me feels more like they want to include those themes, strong female characters and all that jazz, but the writing is so fucking atrocious that it feels like they just shoved those things in for internet points.
When, in my opinion, most everything they release nowdays has shit writing, 'woke' or not.

But then again, if you feel that way, you do you.

My issue is the way the term 'woke' has become so pejorative and loaded. To me it simply means being able to recognise that not everyone's experience of life in our various cultures and countries is the same as mine and that just because it's different doesn't necessarily make it wrong. It's like when I hear someone say something along the lines of, 'it's political correctness gone mad', what I hear is, 'it's political correctness I don't agree with'.

I would like to think that people are fundamentally kind and would get along with each other if there weren't groups on either side pushing one interpretation or another, but ultimately I am too cynical to truly believe it.

I loved the Hobbit, but I was quite young when I read it, maybe 11 or so. Then I tried the LOTR but it was too much, I had to wait until my 14 yo to try it again. So do you read any other fantasy authors?

I remember reading the books and the 3 old cartoons from back in the day.
One and three were that same animation studio, but the 2nd was Ralph Bakshi. Not saying it's a bad thing, but it would've been nice if they all had the same art style...

I wonder now what name do you choose given most of these games barely have male presence. John, Michael, James? The name usually use is a short of an Asian name and the short form exists in English as female name, but is rarely used (I'm not aware to have seen never a fictional or real person using it). So the change a developer uses it is near zero and if he uses it I'm not gonna confuse her with me XD But to have collisions of names in RL is pretty common, in one of my student years, we had 5 girls with the same name in our class.

IF you've ever seen the "Amazing World of Gumball" episode with the RPG- he names his character "MyButt". It might not be good for a porn game, BUT it would still be funny.

yeah, tho you rarely know when you start to make something, and if you would redo those again would probably split time of creation.
i often think ok 5 min (or dont think at all ) and then just quick cut out, do stuff and ends up looking like shit. then the time burn starts, when often would be better to just restart whole thing (more time efficient and better looking), but no lets start fixing it. tho then again it gives you something to do and practice is good too.

I understand your point, but Disney is a company that needs to generate earnings so that their investors are happy, and taking into account that they have either lost money or generated so little to be considered profitable, I don't understand why the keep pushing the same agenda that is not really working for them.

So it is either that the don't care for wherever reason, that what I said on my previous post is not so far of, or that I'm not seeing something in the equation, but as you said is only my opinion.

It all honesty, Disney has become a cesspool of wokism and ultra feminism that at this point just want to ruin every movie posible for the heck of it.

That's not a Disney problem that's a Hollywood problem. Like video games some individuals can't go 2 second without yelling in your face how you should live, no matter witch political side of the spectrum you Aline with. I miss the times were I could escape into anime/video games without being yelled at about tribal politics corresponding to (Insert what ever team/ideologically hear). I say can we be at peace and enjoy basic entertainment , instead of helping one another they say NO back to treating X teams politics like sports team in-till they get what they want.

Same men, I really wonder how it is posible to throw so much money down the drain in several movies and series that have been a rotund failure and don't have a care in the world, especially with Disney being the kind of company that sued an school trying to collect money by playing some of their old princess movies.

On a side note, have you watched the last serie of the LOTR? I haven't watched it and want to have an honest opinion if I should watch it or not, as I'm a fan of the books and the original trilogy.

As a reference:
-I loved the books.
-I loved the original trilogy too. Did not like the exclusion of the last part of the books but understood why it was necessary.
-The hobbit trilogy was okayish, had good bits and bad bits. Only watched once.

I started rings of power, did not made it pass around minute 20 and was in an almost constant WTF state, but my sister said "it wasn't that bad" (did not finish it either). She's fully watched very, very bad series. That's the best I can say about it.
It's something, maybe even something good in the right context(most likely drunk or smoking a lot of weed), but it's definitely not LOTR. If you go in with the expectation of it being LOTR do not bother, if you want to watch something loosely based on the universe give it a try.

I fully agree with you, just that only Disney was mentioned following the context that originated the debate, either way you are right, it has become an issue not only on movies but in videogames, sports and education, etc.

Unfortunately times change, and we will have to wait and see how this all develops going forward, at least what we can do is refusing to consume all that bullcrap and continue to express our discomfort in hopes of a change.
